Just placed an order on my first Jeep! I’ve been wanting a jeep since I was a teen. My twins are graduating high school this year so it’s time to move on from the mini van life! Stoked!

I asked my dealer last Thursday if I can change the order, and he said no because of the VIN. I don't know how different it would be if Jeep decided to try and change the VIN. I'm not a lawyer, but I would say that's a breach of contract since we placed dollars down on a specific vehicle for them to build. But you never know.

I’d be shocked if you had any trouble getting your money back.
But, it sounds like they know how to deal with the recall, so it seems reasonable that they can commit to building what you’ve ordered. It probably slows you down, but I don’t think you’ll have any issue getting a 2023

How were you able to get the 4.88 gears with the xtreme recon package and auto 3.6?I should have posted this a while ago, but ordered my first Jeep back in November and got it a week and a half ago. I would think just the recall on the MTs should be grounds enough for refund on deposit. ?

Good point so I’m going to wait to see what they do though because I really want my 23 Willy’s 2 door manual but depending on what they say as their solution is either ask for a refund on the deposit and get a ford maverick or if they totally cancel all manuals I’ll try to see if I can get an automatic for the same price because the 2 grand was partially why I went with stick besides also just enjoying it more
