My dealer rep now says that the Sky One-Touch Top is the culprit for my 392 build. He said their Jeep rep told them that’s why mine is now at 127 days and counting.
I saw one at Sam’s yesterday that I may have to settle for. I figure I could buy about 360 of these babies but the don’t have the 392 version or the XR. I’m gonna ask the Sam’s tire folks about putting 37s on em though.

what do y’all think?

Damn they now consider the JK as “retro” already?!

We were smooth through the process with the one touch top on our 4xe. Now we just need to get the damn truck driver out of the Golden Coral buffet and in his truck to go get our jeep.

392.. Dealer isnt really doing much so I guess it’s time to work that a bit.

It looks like you ordered 9/6 ... You're probably in D status (which will not be reflected on any of the trackers). Your dealer would be able to confirm this through DealerTracker, but short of that, they won't really be able to impact how quickly your build gets to production.

In situations like @RAMSTEEL had where the Jeep was built and was not shipping after about 2 months, yes, they can certainly get involved because at that point it is their inventory and it is missing.

I ordered 8/23 and I went into D1 on 11/22 according to JeepTracker and the Pizza Tracker (or 11/21 according to WaitingOnJeep). I asked @NDRugby about this discrepancy between JeepTracker and WaitingOnJeep, but he has abandoned us all now that he has his Jeep).

You were 14 days behind me on the order, and it looks like you don't have a SOT top, so barring any parts availability with the 392 motor, the XR package, or the Sunrider for Hardtop, I would guess you'd hit D1 on or around 12/6.

After waiting 18 weeks I finally reached out to jeep chat. I'm SO excited I might get a generic email from a specialist claiming they're working on it. WOOOOO. Jeep really "cares" you guys!!! ???

I’m in KZ status with a date of 12/8. And today, the window sticker is available on the tracker. Does this give any indication of where the vehicle is in the process? Trying to read tea leaves to figure out when it will ship and arrive at the dealer.

Ha! I haven't seen my Jeep since Sunday, Travelling for work. I can't speak to why WaitingonJeep shows a different date. I assume they are adjusting the date that is in the data. I just grab whatever is in teh feed from Jeep. Interestingly, I don't think there is a need to adjust the date. The data that comes in usually one day after the date that is displayed. So on 11/23 I would see an update that has an update date listed in it of 11/22. Hope that helps.

@NDRugby Any estimate from your stats that would say how long after new my "ship" date does your tracker pick up production, if it actually goes into Production? I know the official Jeep tracker is behind. After 101 days in D1 my latest "ship" date is 12/2. Had "ship" dates of 9/29 and 10/2 but those never panned out. If it goes into Production on 12/2 does your tracker pick it up on 12/2, 12/3 or other???

So the way it works as far as I can tell is this: if a Jeep gets E status officially on 12/2, Jeep's data shows that status on 12/3 (with an update date listed as 12/2). My tracker picks it up on 12/3 when Jeep publishes it.
