Like others have said, the tracker estimates for shipped and delivered status were off, changing multiple times (11/8 to 10/28, finally to 10/21). It actually arrived at the Lawrenceville rail yard on 10/12 and I picked it up from Mike yesterday, 10/18.

4-5 fuses had to be reseated and gave that satisfying click when they housed. Tire pressure was 45 psi in all 4 tires.

Yeah he has already done shocks but now going with MC 2.5 figure I'll get close to 3 inches on my 2 door Rubi.

So I finally fired an employee (chronic alchoholic) after giving him way too many chances to clean himself up. He came back 2 days later and drove his pickup into two of our rigs, an F150 and my 4 month old baby that I'd ordered in January. Keep in mind, I'm just north of 50 and this was my first brand new rig. I called the police imediatly and they'd found/arrested him while I was still on the phone. Two counts of malicious injury to property and an aggrevated DUI.

The Ford was totaled within a few days, my Jeep however waited at a Jeep certified body shop for almost two months before they could even look at it. Jeep wasn't going to have parts available until January at the earliest so the insurance really did me a favor and totaled it. They also gave me a solid 10K over what I was even hoping for so in a messed up way our X-employee did me a favor and ordered the Rubicon. I absolutly loved the Sport Altitude but the new Rubi will surely ease my pain and suffering, haha.

The worst part , I lost the best Jeepin months of the year. The bright side, along with getting locking diffs and a Rubi sticker, he wrecked vehicles instead of shooting the shop.

Sounds like a real winner. Sucks for the totaled vehicles but I absolutely agree with you. It could’ve been a lot worse.

I'm happy to report... that the Jeep wheels on my pizza tracker picture are no longer pink. At last, our long national nightmare is over...

UPDATE: Nope! Spoke too soon. Just checked the tracker and the pink wheels are back... LOL. This has gone past weird and is rounding surreal...

The sad part he was/is a decent guy? I considdered him to be a friend but demons are demons I guess. And a good craftsman, (when he was sober) and those are hard to come by.

@NDRugby - shockingly I'm back to TBD and now at 30 days post-build with no delivery. Do you have Virginia's or system-wide stats for the past three months on most extended wait times? Seems like I'm well past normal at this point and @JeepCares is offering no insight. I just wonder at what point do they or the dealership actually engage?

Just looking for post build delivery information.

First, I'd skip Jeep Cares, unless you ask them to open a case on this. Go directly to your dealer. They should have some insight. If the sales person doesn't have any info, ask if his sales manager or GM can reach out to their factory or Jeep rep and find out what is going on.

I don't think it's necessarily a VA problem. What I have seen though is that Jeeps that get a TBD in the Arrival Date column and then get delivered are averaging just under 12 days between shipped and delivered with a median of 11, and the Arrival Date never updates. I think it's just crappy data from Jeep. There are a bunch with a TBD still sitting there though too. If you add in Jeeps still at shipped with a TBD, and calculate time based on today, the average goes to 22.4 and the median 17. The strandard deviation of that data is 13.8

Word from my dealer is that my estimated build/ship date has now been pushed from 10/20 (today) to 11/3 with no explanation as to why...

I'm struggling to appreciate that answer as I see others on this board that has been getting fairly detailed insight.

I fear I've gone into a black hole and there's nothing in their system that flags it until some extraordinary date appears, like 60 days or more. Based on some of the recent postings, I think I could order another Jeep and receive (a different location) sooner than mine

I’m sure it’s frustrating. There are currently 7 Jeeps built not shipped that need to go to VA. If one of them ships I would hope the rest would too. Keep an eye on that. Good luck man. All the shipping times have been all over the place.
