My estimated ship date was yesterday, still not in production.
So was mine. Just got the notification today that mine is in production. After 3 1/2 months. I bet you get a notification over the weekend or Monday.

My guess is it makes sense to batch trannys either due to minimum order numbers or because there is a line or process change required to install. I don't think every option is a batch change though.
The powertrain is completed in a different building and is already installed when the main assembly is started. But the separate line for the powertrain could be an issue. They have definitely haven't been building a large number of 6-sppeds...

Yeah doesn't matter the building it's still a lune that likely needs changed so doing 1 offs doesn't make sense.

With only a few thousand (I think I read 2% somewhere) having MT batching at 100 or 200 probably makes sense.

I see your 8/23 and raise you 7/11, still in “D” on a 392 :-(
Honestly, while I play the part of the impatient person, they could take until next summer to build it for all I care. The only concern I have at the moment is getting rid of my current Jeep before the market slams down to the ground (money's not cheap anymore) and trying to find a truck. Timing it so I can get a decent price on the sale of my Jeep and the purchase of a truck seems like threading a needle.
