Can you share further what you mean or have learned? Genuinely interested because I have seen differently.

For example, I know of 3 Jeeps custom ordered at my dealer (with them have many more orders).

Order dates:
7/22
8/24
9/08

The first two, still at C, the last one went D1 on 9/23

Well I cant say that I have learned anything... just trying to make sense of the different stories shared on these forums. What rings true to me is if a higher volume dealer that has turned over a higher amount of 392s past couple years will likely have better allocation coming into 23. if my dealer only sold a couple of these and my order was the sole 392 custom order in June, then perhaps my little order drops to bottom of the stack of to-dos behind "preferred"/volume" dealers.

But I could just as easily be convinced that its just merely when jeep is cycling certain trims/ colors/ 2 door/ 4 door... that because my order has the one touch vs freedom panels the other guys build is done while I stare at TBD.

I know the XR package has endless speculation... it has disappeared a few times from order sheets and online. The high tide rolled in and swept all the parts out to sea...

I do know that imports were a disaster earlier in the year, but now all that congestion had well gone away. The news now seems to be about how all our American companies are sitting on overstock and are worried about how to get rid of inventory expecting a "trucking winter", softened consumer demand.

Its hard to not be cynical at all the games... fuel prices... interest rates... the whiplash used car values... no chips... just lemme have my 392.

Dealer has est ship date of tomorrow. I know this typically translates to the day it goes into production.. what are the odds this actually happens? Stay tuned ?

Thank you for responding. I think the higher volume dealers do get priority, but what I am seeing is the big delays come from the choices we make (transmission, trim, options etc). That's the best I've been able to discern on the data from about 800 jeeps. Some of it is luck and timing.

Dealer informed me Saturday to the same date. I think we might see some news tomorrow. Or possibly Weds since it seems the day the trackers update is a day behind the Jeep update. Also it seems to me that they typically push that date out for their in advance than the day before.

Dealer just emailed that I'm still D1 but estimated ship date moved from 10/20 to 10/19. So, baby steps ... but at least moved in my favor.

Every time we think we have it figured out, Jeep does something different
One thing to keep in mind Monday is the second lowest update date. The data updates are on a one day delay (so changes that happen at Jeep on Monday, appear in their tracker data on Tuesday). So Sunday and Monday have the smallest number of updates in the tracker (changes that actually happen Saturday and Sunday). Tuesday and Wednesday are the biggest. Thursday, Friday, Saturday are big too.

My dealer stated that my order which was (built 9/24) still shows in his system as Toledo Rail. Tracker still only shows built not shipped. I’m guessing Toledo rail just means it’s sitting to be scheduled? Or is it on a train and the tracker didn’t update?

It really is here... we'll pick up this evening. All trackers still saying it has shipped but TBD on delivery. It came in on 10/01.

I'm strongly considering placing a second order for a 4xe (instead of my manual) with a different dealer, or may be the same one, to see which arrives first and just eating one deposit. Am I crazy?
Did prices go up on 4xe like the normal wranglers? Was looking at getting a Willys with the sun and screen package

I just looked at my old build spreadsheet that I used and the 4xe base price is exactly the same. Not true for the Manual Rubi.

It's really what you order that helps determine the speed or delay. What's frustrating is mine was built on 23 September and I'm still waiting to see a delivery date. It appeared for 29 September, then TBD, now 10 October. Hydro Blue 392 with XR package and Sky Top.
Mine was built on Sept 21 and me delivery date has changed 4 times between 10-31 Oct. sales team says they think it’ll be here this week cause they pinged it 3 hours from here last Thursday.

That theory poses an interesting question. Based on the extensive data analysis you’ve done, I’m curious as to what would be the fastest build? Not that I’m changing anything now, just genuinely curious.
