I just got the "In Production Queue" email too! Figures, I just emailed my dealer asking for an update....finally some progress!

Fck, and just got locked out of the system again. So does this mean I should have a scheduled date?

I've been trying not to 'annoy' my dealer too much and by the time I hear back from him, the tracker will likely be working again. See if I can wait until Monday if it's not updated.

I'm thinking that there are tax implications of doing a trade-in versus selling it yourself. My accountant (a.k.a. "my wife") is currently on a boat in Washington, so I can't ask her. Hopefully someone else can speak up on those details.

Accountant here & yes, trading it would *typically* end up with less taxes being paid!

Also just recieved Jeep email advising my order is in Production Queue. 2023 4DR Wrangler Sport, white, hardtop, tint windows, anti spin diff, tow package. Order recieved 8/2, VIN 8/9, Production Queue 8/19.

……. And we have a build sheet! 2023 JLU Sport white with tan I4 automatic. As reported earlier, 6-4 confirmed, 7-6 in production queue, 8-15 build date per FCA. Dealer lists it as built and awaiting shipment as of this morning.

Was in Order Confirmed but now pizza tracker says no information available. I’m seeing a lot of movement so hopefully the system is just updating and I move into the scheduled phase

I’ve seen this a lot on this thread. Every time this has happened to others when it came back up for them it was updated. Hopefully that’s the case with yours!!

Yea, I was just teasing the waters on what to expect, and CarMax was a few thousand below Carvana. The dealer themselves won't give me a trade quote ahead of time, do that will have to wait. In the end, I'll just see who had the best offer before I go down all the papers and take delivery.

My feeling is a dealer that won't give you a trade in value before is out to screw you! Run!

I only asked mine if he had a VIN so I could check insurance rates. I'm not asking him for a build date or anything of that nature because he's probably getting inundated with that. He told me to think 4 months and as much as I don't want to be patient, I just have to be. I'm pretty sure he'll still get commission whether it's an order or off the lot... but he'll have to wait for that just like I have to wait for my Jeep, I'm assuming.

Typically, you should have a VIN within a week to 10 days tops. My VIN still doesn't show up on the Tracker and I have had the VIN for 5 days. There is no reason for a salesman not to reply to you with a VIN.
