hi guys, new member here. I have had my jl for a couple of months now and it started throwing all warning lights on me, so i took jeep to have batteries checked, and main was weak, so i bought replacements for both. I fully charged both before installing,, and disconnected negatives and unhooked from icb. I re installed cables and took for a drive and everything was fine. got in next morning and all warnings came on and cant even put in gear. I then uninstalled cables again, and removed z block high amp fuse and checked continuity across all and everything is good, the f 43 fuse is good as well, the only thing i noticed is that when i re installed towing lead to top of battery after replacing fuse it blew again. should i just leave it disconnected? i dont think it would trigger all the other problems. any advice would be greatly appreciated, as i love my jeep, and am at wits end on how to resolve this, thanks!

I was experiencing the same type of issue, in my case we eventually found the CAN bus connector was the issue.
The CAN bus connector on a Jeep Wrangler JL (and Gladiator) is a crucial component that allows various electronic control units (ECUs) to communicate with each other. It's often referred to as the "star connector" and is typically located behind the glove box. A common issue is failure of this connector, which can lead to a variety of electrical problems, including warning lights, gauge malfunctions, and even loss of power steering.

thank you, i read this after my post, along with the post about checking the fuses to see if they were all pushed in, so i did that as well as checking the connector behind the glove box, and it seemed to resolve my issues, fingers crossed, i ordered a new can bus connector as well. The only thing strange i have noticed is now it sometimes tells me when i get in the jeep is to push the clutch in before starting, which is odd as i have an automatic. thanks for responding, glad for the help!

This is definitely a 2018 thing. My wife's JLU Sport does the same thing, along with 999999 showing up on the mileage, or the mileage disappearing altogether. I'm not sure what the fix is, but I have read on the forums that there is an instrument cluster update that they can do at the dealership which has solved the issue for some.
