I'm currently having issues with my 2019. 3.6L engine.
Here's the sequence of events:
- Jeep would not start, engine would not turn over. Lots of lights on dash, service power steering message, P0480 error code
- Tried bypassing the Aux battery to see if that was draining main battery. With AUX unhooked and fuse pulled dash was completely dark
- Replaced both main and Aux battery (both batteries were original from 2019), removed all accessory wires to battery (Winch, ARB compressor, AUXbeam switch panel). Jeep started up but got "Stop/Start Unavailable Service Stop/Start" along with a battery light and an ESS light. Then turned into a "Stop Safely. Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon" message
- Mechanic checked the alternator and said it was fine
- Also when connecting the negative wire to the negative battery terminal got a spark on the connection
Am going back tomorrow to tow it back home and then want to start troubleshooting. Anyone have any ideas on what to check?
