I'm currently having issues with my 2019. 3.6L engine.

Here's the sequence of events:

- Jeep would not start, engine would not turn over. Lots of lights on dash, service power steering message, P0480 error code

- Tried bypassing the Aux battery to see if that was draining main battery. With AUX unhooked and fuse pulled dash was completely dark

- Replaced both main and Aux battery (both batteries were original from 2019), removed all accessory wires to battery (Winch, ARB compressor, AUXbeam switch panel). Jeep started up but got "Stop/Start Unavailable Service Stop/Start" along with a battery light and an ESS light. Then turned into a "Stop Safely. Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon" message

- Mechanic checked the alternator and said it was fine

- Also when connecting the negative wire to the negative battery terminal got a spark on the connection

Am going back tomorrow to tow it back home and then want to start troubleshooting. Anyone have any ideas on what to check?

Check the Fuse Array!!
This happed to my 2018 jl..
The N3 fuse had blown.. and it does actually shut down the jeep..
The N3 fuse can be moved to an empty slot on the fuse array and it will start right up if that's the problem.. that is just a temp fix, the entire fuse array panel will need to be replaced.

Thanks! I'll check it out once I get the Jeep back home.

edit: If it is the N3 fuse and I move the cable over to N4 how long can I drive it? It's currently 165 miles away from home...

I found my battery connection was corroded at 3 years it was starting and running my Jeep but not charging properly and the start stop wasn't working. I took off my battery wires, cleaned all connections and put it back together and all is well now. The positive connection is/was the culprit... Now if only I could make the whine disappear 🥹
