Oh good, Jeep's building for other countries before fulfilling paying orders in the US? That's cute.

My super delayed, off-road page free Rubicon is now 95% getting cancelled tomorrow. Let's see if @JeepCares responds to my PM that they requested.

^^^^^What N75 said. About to cancel as well. Received Golden Ticket, not valid on Wrangler. Information black out from Jeep = No Bueno. Getting tired of feeling like a beggar for water in the desert. Already looking at other makes and models with a few top contenders.

This is getting kind of sad. Jeep has the most loyal customers in the automotive world, and they still screw it up this time...

FCA exec, please read this. Turn this whole souring-the-public thing around.

Less people in the queue. Hopefully mine will get built sooner. :)

Wow, that is infuriating. On top of the continuous and unexplained delays, we won't be getting a feature that we ordered.

wtf, Jeep.

:/

I really hope you're right. I am responding more to the statement from uconnect twitter:

If that comment is correct, then I'll probably just cancel my order and wait for 2019s.

The attached JL production timeline schedule states “* The following chart is not official and has been created by JLWF to illustrate our info.”.

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...jl-2-0l-delay-powertop-diesel-dates-etc.1341/

How did this timeline come about? Supposedly it came from FCA, but by who? Why would this posted timeline be any more valid then all of the other incorrect, vague and untrue data we’ve received all along?
Other then the LA Auto show reveal, is anything on this timeline correct?

So I just ordered a 2-door Sting-Gray Rubicon, manual and hardtop, on 2/28. Chatted with Jeep, they gave me my VIN and said I’m in D status.

Why would a new order not land immediately in C status? Are they putting different order combinations in different buckets based on production schedules? Or is D the first step for all orders?
Welcome to the waiting line!

Rubi, I ordered “my” 2 door Rubicon on 12/13, first day dealer had pricing available. I referred to this Wrangler Forum, understanding it was compiled using the best info available from FCA in Sept. I accepted the Feb. 12, projected start date, but was vilified by some of our more vocal members when I tried to confirm the start date. You would think this was the “holy grail” of info. So, hear we patiently wait thru delays, price increases, missing u connect updates, and rumors....and an unsolicited email from my dealer, stating 2door turbo JLs will lead off production April 9th. Time will tell, my friends
