Ordered mine in the beginning of December haven’t heard anything. March is starting to sound right unfortunately. Black hard top too.

Stoowie, same here ordered12/19/17, been in D status over 5 weeks. JL 2 door Rubicon, with 8 speed, Black hardtop, most accessories. Jeep Cares states 2 door production pushed back till early March start up due to “delays” Did not specify vendor problems or rail delays....

I'm not sure why there are so many people bent out of shape over their 2 door not being produced yet because they ordered several months ago when back in September this timeline was put together showing production wasn't even planned until February. It also shows that the soft top isn't available for the 2 door until March.

AdHerp thanks for your post it seems that it totally concurs with the supervisor I spoke with yesterday. Her name was Paula and she stated that the 2 dr soft top will not start production until mid March with delivery late April

Did they mention of hard tops were still on target? If so could move onto immediate production. That's be awesome .

In my head I'm telling myself this will take three months to happen. Helps set expectations correctly.

Hmm, not bent out of shape. Just comparing what Jeep Chat, Jeep Customer service, etc states with other members. Rumors, & “my dealer says” not very reliable. Opinions like assholes , we all have em.

According to that schedule I’d Guess the ‘18’s will already be on clearance after September- might actually be the best time to buy for a better deal.

I also wonder how big these price drops on the JK’s will be next month- might sway a few potential buyers nervous about bugs on the redesign into buying the previous tried and true model Regardless of outdated tech

Looks like mid-April to early-May for 2-doors to start being delivered.

I think they are being made but in a very small amount. Obviously they exist because we have seen them on YouTube and other reviews .

There are none in production. The only ones you see are pre-production that were built before the release and without VIN's. By law, they cannot be sold and will eventually be scrapped.
