I decided to name him Goose because of Grey Goose (he’s Sting Gray) and because he makes me feel like a Maverick (Top Gun).

Goose and I look forward to hanging out with Vida and Gabrielle later this month!

Got the new Rubicon Extremes put on today. I like the look and am getting full tire contact with the road with the wider rims. They measure 17 X 9.5 with 4.5" backspacing and a 6mm offset. Cost a bit more than expected as I had to buy new valve stems. They are not usable after taken off the old wheels.
I used a 1 3/4" Piece of 1 1/4 PVC and the chair feet for tailgate bumpers. Didn't even need to paint them. Thanks for the tip @McBeeve .

Awesome look Fred. Considering upgrade to KO2/35” tires also....install the 33s on wife’s GC. Can I ask your source for the wheels, been looking on Tire Rack & Discount Time websites. I ordered the Ace rockrails, waiting for shipment. How’s the additional weight on tailgate? Also, took rear plastic bumper off, temporarily. Considering the DV-8 from Extreme Terrain....any thoughts fellow JL members....

Wow! That's perfect!
Now, since "you never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips," get out there on that "highway to the danger zone"!
"Goodness gracious great balls of fire!" Do ya feel the need? THE NEED FOR SPEED!

Ok, well I definitely know what movie I'm watching tonight.

I think you are somewhat confused on this whole nekkid Jeepin thing. :)
LOL Mike, I get topless & nekkid whenever possible....Winters comin as you know in VT. Seriously, waiting for the aftermarket to catch up with the JL launch. Really dislike the plastic rear bumper look....ADD rear bumper $970. Hauk $870. Poison Spyder $750. or DV8 $475. Removed the spare tire carrier just to see look. Any suggestions on alternative rear bumper ??

To be honest I've only looked at front bumpers so far. We just stuck a DV8 on my friend's Sport S. They are beefy. Do NOT get the front one until they truly make a JL version. He had to modify the crap out of his front end to get the DV8 front bumper installed. I helped and it took us all day. Good thing I had air tools to help him out. The rear bumper just slid right on, no issues except for the wiring. They don't provide ANY wires for the extra backup LED's. They also don't provide a license plate light. Bottom line of all this rambling, I think DV8 needs to get their sh*t together.

Thanks for the input on the DV8, Mike. If you can loan me $2300.00 I’ll gladly order this bumper and tire carrier from ADD on Extreme Terrain. This is the look I crave, but will probably upsize the stock KO2s and wheels first. $$$$$
