Howdy hi all! Been crazy busy with no real time to post or do Jeepy things.

Our Foster daughter will be leaving us next week to go live with family. Judge decides Monday who that is, praying she goes to live with her sister. We are shutting our home down after that, just too physically and emotionally draining. I could go on and on about how the system sucks for foster parents, but won’t.

Anyways, I will now find myself with time to do Jeepy things! Going to start regular visits to Hidden Falls Adventure Park, which is like half hour from home. Some members of the Jeep community do newbie runs at the Park, going to join up for a run.

Jeep has been running great, only issue I have is some wind noise up front above 35 miles or so. Been casually trying to track it down on my own, but having driven a convertible daily for a few years I am used to wind noise. Easiest solution is turning stereo up!

Thanks for the input on the DV8, Mike. If you can loan me $2300.00 I’ll gladly order this bumper and tire carrier from ADD on Extreme Terrain. This is the look I crave, but will probably upsize the stock KO2s and wheels first. $$$$$

My heart and prayers go out to you and your family! I won’t say any stupid things like how you brought light and stability in your foster daughter’s life when she needed it most. Hope you will be able to keep in touch and love her.

Awwww thanks Cristina! If the judge decides she should live with her sisters family we will be seeing both of them :) The grandparents love us and the girls want to be able to see us.

Ladies and gentlemen, please meet my handsome buddy Goose!

upload_2018-9-14_21-47-26.jpeg

I decided to name him Goose because of Grey Goose (he’s Sting Gray) and because he makes me feel like a Maverick (Top Gun).

Goose and I look forward to hanging out with Vida and Gabrielle later this month!
All I can think of is the Vodka. That name is also very fitting. Either way, both are perfect. Now, if your state has a goose on a license plate, that would be cool. Or get a goose decal on the tailgate or somewhere. Or a decal of a bottle of vodka. ;)

That will work. You must have some roots in Great Britain!
I have friends in England, you’d think I had more ties, but just a yankee from Nebraska needing an alternative to coffee. I usually keep 4 different flavors of tea.
