My daughter took pictures, I will get one when she wakes up.How do the boxers fit in the back, Gary? Can you post a picture with them? I want to see how my grand dogs will fit; I don’t want to try til I get back seat covers. Plus our first dog was a boxer, I loved that gal, she was awesome!
Just a suggestion, try one of those Christmas tree bags to store the seat in. Plenty of room and keeps the crap off. Mine is standing on end in the garage. I got the idea elsewhere in the forums. My daughter took pictures, I will get one when she wakes up.
I took out rear seat and loaded them in from back, I clipped them into safety harness (not idea clipping spots on seat mount loops) and tried wrapping to sport bar. I ordered some shorter straps that I think will keep them in jeep a safer.
I was thinking of rear sear cover too, but that would be such a pain to get them back there. They can both jump 7'+ when they want to, I got he boxer "nope, that looks impossible thing".
I think I will keep rear seat out and just pop it back in if needed (It will keep rear seat in better condition too).
#6 is standard in my partsHere are some variations to try!

Charlie Brown’s teacher’s voice? Search for the “speaker issue” thread. The remedy that works for most is to shim the OBDII bypass port thingy with packing foam. (It’s the wires you use to install a Tazer or FlashCal.)Well the only way I can describe it like when you have a speaker thats broken and when i person is talking on the radio you get a bass sound, but it's not all the time. I tried to adjust the bass and treble by going more treble and less bass. But again it's not all the time and not on XM
Thank you Christina! Reading so many comments about women not waving is definitely motivating me to get it rightYou’re so funny, Alex! I’m sort of the same. I am finding out the jLUs are less likely to wave back. And, yes, I can say this ‘cause I’m a girl, but women are more likely to be soccer moms and don’t wave back. As disheartening as it is not to receive a wave back, I love when I get one, puts a big smile on my face, so I know there are authentic jeeples out there. So keep on waving (only to wranglers!) and have fun. You know...”if you’re happy and you know it wave your hand....if you’re happy and you know it......
Happy Saturday!

Thank you for the thoughtful advice, PhotoGuy! Much appreciated, and it all makes perfect sense.I'm new to the Wrangler scene too, so I just started waving at every Wrangler I saw (and yes, it's just a Wrangler thing).
Waves come from everywhere: Coming towards me, from the sides and even from behind! I had a 2-door behind me so I stuck my hand up (I had my top down) and waved and he did the same. Wranglers will pass me, wave, then give me a thumbs-up.
When I get a wave from someone coming directly at me, they usually just lift their hand up off the steering wheel a bit. Since I usually have my doors off, I'll go ahead and give them a full "arm-out-the-door" wave and they get a big kick out of that.
Highway/freeway waves are less frequent since folks aren't really looking over 4 to 6 lanes of traffic.
Then you'll get folks who won't even acknowledge you're there. I pulled up right beside a lady at a stoplight who was in a JKU and she wouldn't even look over. She knew I was there because she passed me! So don't let those people get to ya. They aren't Jeeple; they're just people.
So just have fun at it! Like I mentioned earlier, I'm getting more waves now than ever since my doors are off and I'm either in safari mode or sun-rider mode. It's a cool look and draws attention from not only other Wrangler drivers but folks who wish they had one!![]()

And for a good cause, too.Sound advice. Thank you!I wouldn’t worry overly much. I find on the trail people are friendlier. No need to make waving a chore and no way it should make the drive dangerous. Imho

Now I see, hear, (understand) it. If it's not on XM I would say the speaker is OK and its just some distortion on the FM. Keep in mind we are under warranty so we shouldn't be afraid to play around with things and turning up the volume should be included. I should take my own advise. I think the highest I have had the volume is 17.Well the only way I can describe it like when you have a speaker thats broken and when i person is talking on the radio you get a bass sound, but it's not all the time. I tried to adjust the bass and treble by going more treble and less bass. But again it's not all the time and not on XM
Nice! Thank you, Lydia! Here are some variations to try!

OK! The sun’s out, and my windows are now stored in my new MOPAR bag and stuffed in the trunk.P#68358392AB
I don’t believe there is a different P# for 2dr.
Does the soft top block any of your view in the rear view mirror when down?OK! Sun’s out, windows stored in my new MOPAR bag and stuffed in the trunk.
- The bag’s design is fantastic. I got my bag for free (thank you, Nicole!), but I’d happily pay for it because it’s perfect. I know there’s a mom and pop outfit making custom bags, but I’d be shocked if the side windows fit in it as nicely as they do in the MOPAR offering
- It’s a very tight fit in the trunk. You have to sorta fold the sides a bit, and only time will tell if that creates creases. I don’t think it will, but if it does the hot sun ought to sort them
- Getting the top all the way down is extremely tight. I ended up folding my back seat forward ever so slightly, locking down the top, and then locking the back seat upright. The plastic corners of the side windows are sandwiched between the back seat and the top’s support bar. It doesn’t feel so tight that it’s going to be a problem, though. I’m sure it all fits more easily in a JLU.
- I use Velcro straps to keep my top snugly in the down position. I feel this removed play, and will prevent friction between the window bag and the top. I forgot to snap a pic of them on, but I’ll go out and do that, soon.

You know it! It’s the badge of authenticity when a wave brings you so much gladness!Thank you Christina! Reading so many comments about women not waving is definitely motivating me to get it right
I figure that if Jeep girls like you and Lydia can be among the pillars of this forum, there is no reason why we can’t be upstanding lady Jeeples on the roads too!

By the way, the first wave I ever received was from another woman when I was test driving a JK last summer. Made my day!
