Picked up my Sting Gray beauty!! Worth every bit of the 20 weeks!! Looking for a cover that fits over the soft top when the back and side windows are removed, and left in the garage... Has anyone found a good cover to protect from rain when out without the bulky windows?

Ya, just got back from the lake with daughter and boxers... man its so fun doing stuff with the JL. This thing feels like a sports car compared to my last Jeep in the early 90s.

I haven't seen any 2-door JLs in my area as well though I know there are at least two more out there somewhere. Seen several 4-door JLs. One white one lives around here but the owner doesn't wave. But she doesn't use her turn signals either so her hands must be broken.
I get quite a few waves from other Wrangler owners, though, now that I'm mostly riding with doors off in safari mode or sun rider mode.
I know... maybe one out of 4-5 wave... but it sure puts a big smile on my face!

Yep, bought tickets a couple of days ago. :like: Plan to go Friday and I'll be searching too. Holding off on buying a couple of things just to see what they have. :fingerscrossed:
I’m guessing I can get tickets there? I’m driving up from N Alabama

OK, so I’ve got a dumb question, but hey - how else do you learn...

You only wave when you’re coming across a Jeep driving towards you i.e. on the opposite side of the road, correct? Said differently, you wouldn’t wave if you were passing a Jeep on a highway, right?
I will be new to the wave and I really want to get it right... Anything else a rookie like me should know about? Does it matter if you wave with your left hand vs. right hand? (I don’t think so but maybe there’s a secret meaning I don’t know about...).

PS1: I tried waving when I got my Jeep Renegade but no one ever waved back LOL. Apparently it’s a Wrangler thing rather than a Jeep thing!

PS2: I must confess that I find The Wave almost as daunting as I find it exciting! On the one hand I love the sense of community and comradeship among Jeep owners, and after lurking on these forums for weeks I feel like waving to every Jeeper on the off chance it could be one of y’all. :involve: But on the other hand there are *so many* Wranglers around here, I might as well get used to driving with only one hand at all times! I don’t know how folks with manuals manage it... Steer with your knees?!

I wouldn’t worry overly much. I find on the trail people are friendlier. No need to make waving a chore and no way it should make the drive dangerous. Imho
