My Sting-Gray Rubicon 2-door appears to have come off the assembly line last night at 12:04am, and is currently in "built pending inspection"...I had been assuming the build sheet came BEFORE vehicle assembly happened, but apparently not. I'll be watching tracking like a hawk today to see if that build sheet shows up.

Window sticker shows up just before shipping, correct?

Pretty sure that's the way mine went.

Yes! I literally just got back from my dealer, and my bag is in my back seat. Once the rain stops I’ll try it out. (It was ordered July 3.)
Do you happen to have the part number? I cant find it anywhere for the 2 doors

You’re too funny, even though it’s sad... you’ll just have to travel more, to get away from all the HOA headaches!
Haha! Do you think if you said “please” they’ll let you????
I would rather say "please" to them with a 155mm howitzer... :(

The one I ordered was the cheaper of the two options. The "sail cloth". So there's an even more expensive top which I suppose is thicker. In the winter I'll have the hard top on from Dec-March. The other months I'll actually have the soft top (and the doors) on as little as possible. I only need it to lessen the effect of downpours.
Around here, the "winter" is the only time you would want to *not* have the hard top on... :)

i thought 75r/ 17s were closer to 35 no?
Tires are specified as Width/Profile/WheelDiameter
where Width is in millimeters
Profile is in percent (i.e. '75' means 75% or 0.75),
and WheelDiameter is in inches.

So, a 245/75R17 (also sometimes written as 245/75/17) would have 245mm as the width, a profile of 75%, and fit a wheel of 17".

To calculate the total diameter (height) of the tire, you can use the following formula:

Height = (Width / 25.4 * Profile) * 2 + WheelDiameter

Or for a 245/75R17, it would be:

Height = (245 / 25.4 * 0.75) * 2 + 17 = 31.4685"

I lived in Puerto Vallarta for 3 years. The "winter" never needed a top or doors. The "summer" is the only time I ever put the soft top on when it rained. Even then it dried quickly. I don't think I had the doors on more than twice in 3 years.

I don’t believe there is a different P# for 2dr.

My window sticker appeared on a Friday and the Jeep showed up at the dealer the following Tuesday. Mind you I'm only a 2 hour drive from the plant, so it didn't have to load onto a train first. But hopefully things are moving quickly now and you will have it soon!

Hope so, but I'm just relieved that my Jeep finally exists out there somewhere.
That was one of my first feel good moments "it really does exist!"

Very glad to hear some 2-door 2.0L Rubicons are progressing! That’s also what I’m waiting for (Sting Gray, too!).

EDIT: I thought I was in the Turbo thread where we’re all eagerly / anxiously waiting for our cars to be built... Just realized this is the 2-door thread so odds are you’re probably getting a 3.6. Still happy for you... Just less happy for me :like:

Glad to help... Just remember though -- that is the *theoretical* size... Some tire manufacturers will say a tire is one size and if you actually measure it, it will be something different. I've seen tires that were the "same size" differ by 1/2" in diameter and would not be surprised if even more of a difference could happen -- maybe 1/2" plus or minus from the theoretical size? I suspect that someone will chime in if they've seen worse...
