Love the 6-speed!!!! First impressions are great. Yes, the dealer didn't air down from 41 psi, but easy enough to deal with. One bummer though is that one of the LED halo rings on the headlights is not lighting at all, so the dealer had to order another. If that's the only problem I have upon delivery I'll take it. Too early to tell, but so far you all were right and it's worth the wait.

My wife has even threatened to take it from me... need to get her into a 4 door so there's room for the kids and the dog at the same time. Her ride has 2 more years on the lease so after that it's on!

And wanted to say thanks again to everyone here! So much insight, advice, and sometimes it's just the nonsense that makes me smile. Being a part of this group has helped immensely during the waiting period. Hope to meet some of you in the real world sometime too!!!

Wasn't able to get to the beach this morning (bummer) so I thought I'd have a little fun with the video I took of me-n-Stormie getting stuck (and then getting un-stuck!) by adding a little dramatic music and the actual sound effects of driving by my GoPro.

Quadratec makes the jeep soft tops. They are the same. You can start placing orders on August 15th. I ordered my JL with the hardtop ($1200 CAD) and had the dealer order a soft top through quadratec (will order...$2400 CAD) and roll it up in to the monthly payment. So essentially I'm paying almost $4K for my jeep to have a roof....I'm stupid and so is Jeep on this issue.

Is it the premium soft top? I have no clue what the difference is, but if it’s “premium” and costs triple....has to be better, right? And yes, I also ordered the Brooklyn Bridge! Lol

Yep... Spent all last night cleaning up my side of the garage so that I could fit both the JL and my Harley FLHPI on that side while not affecting my wife's car. I had an extension ladders and 2-man kayak suspended from the ceiling on that side since I didn't need that much vertical room for the Harley and my workbench, but that wouldn't quite work with the JL, so I had to raise them a few inches. If I had pulled in nose first, I wouldn't have had to do that, but that would have made it more difficult to get out of the vehicle since I'm parking on the left and my wife is parking on the right. It's a tight fit, but it worked. Wish I could expand my garage, but I live in one of the damn HOA Nazi subdivisions and as far as they are concerned, it doesn't matter if a 3 (or more) car garage was an option from the builder when the house was constructed. All that matters is what it was originally constructed as since that is what you are going to be stuck with forever. Doesn't matter if your neighbor has a 3-car garage and you have a larger side yard, so you have plenty of room for even a *4*-car garage. It wasn't built that way, so the damn HOA Nazis will not allow you to change it. I hate these scum-sucking low-life HOA Nazis.

The OEM tops are made by BesTop. In another thread it was mentioned that they wouldn’t have non-oem versions available for sale for quite a while.

Yes! I literally just got back from my dealer, and my bag is in my back seat. Once the rain stops I’ll try it out. (It was ordered July 3.)
