very arduous, for example. the group of ten Jeeps behind us lost three Jeeps at the gatekeeper (beginning of trail designed to keep incapable vehicles off the trail), and of the seven that made it to camp 4 needed serious repairs. that group all looked at us and our stock JL in amazement! it was very difficult to drive, spot and film so the majority of footage is from the easier stuff. i was too busy to film during the very difficult stuff. thx for the compliment. im still going thru 10 days of backlog, looks like lots of new Jeeps, looking forward to seeing you all get yours dirty!Watched part of your posts this morning. That is a very arduous trail! You and wifey are the realm McCoy!
I'll be watching more but already impressive. Makes me think I'll want 35's again. Maybe some skids.

you know, after this trip i may rock the 33's even longer! just to show off to all the big rigs on 37's lol the frame took most of the rock sliding, the rails did very lil. the skids that came with it did very well, my one concern was where we dented the exhaust near the transfer case. i am already fabbing a skid in my mind for that! otherwise the JL performed way, way, way better than anticipated (driver?) lolI'll be watching more but already impressive. You both look like you are having fun.
"I could give a shit about the slider." :cwl:

Same here, will be nice to have as I've been running without doors a lot recently with the hot-ass weather here in southern WIGot shipment email from Quadratec for my mirrors. So they’re shipping early!
Awesome! I've never gone bigger than 33s on past Jeeps, but because they are stock size now it just "feels" like they have to be changed out to something bigger. Glad you had a great time, and glad to see the stock Rubi doing so well!you know, after this trip i may rock the 33's even longer! just to show off to all the big rigs on 37's lol the frame took most of the rock sliding, the rails did very lil. the skids that came with it did very well, my one concern was where we dented the exhaust near the transfer case. i am already fabbing a skid in my mind for that! otherwise the JL performed way, way, way better than anticipated (driver?) lol

this is an impressive truck, it way out performed our jacked up JK on 35's. a bit of lift some 35's or 37's and decent rock rails and this JL will go about anyplace you want to go. it really doesnt need much. As the other group with all the broken Jeeps repeated, its gotta be the driver! lol i just kept quiet, i didnt let on it was all the JL! lolAwesome! I "think" I'm going to stick with the stock tires and suspension at least until next summer, but that feeling may change once I actually get mine![]()
Well finally got the Window Sticker for my 1st order above. If anyone is looking for a 2-door S with PST in the Twin Cities, one will be arriving and will be available soon.I have two identical orders. Both with "Build Priority: 99".
But the order that seems to be moving has a "Scheduling Priority: 1-Sold Order". This one has an order date of 3/31/2018.
My other order which is not moving and still in D has an order date of 1/17/2018 and has a "Scheduling Priority: 2-Fastest Moving Vehicle Order".
My guess is that they are doing "Scheduling Priority: 1-Sold Order" units 1st.
The above information is on the Priced Order Confirmations (POC)s.
not if you get punkn, it comes with silver dash with either interior colorBlack interior Rubi gets the Red Dashboard. Tan interior Rubi gets the grey dashboard. The 8.4 inch Nav screen comes with the Premium Alpine Speakers. It is awesome!!! 520 watt subwoofer really blasts.
If you decide to get your radio inspected by the dealer, let us know. We'll do our best to help with that process.Hey fellow Jeeps peeps I have a question............
I have my Red Rubi 2 dr for two weeks now and love it.
My question is sporadically while listening to talk radio I get like a reverberation or a static sound thats coming from the radio.
I'ts nor AM static but just an annoying sound
Does anybody our in Jeepland have the same issue
Yes, and when vinyl cracks , it cuts the crap out of you too! I honestly love toyotas softex yes it does heat up some but very comfortable, water proof , and cleans up easy.Leather seats aren't nearly as bad as vinyl... And any other old fart that is around my age can attest to... You learned really quickly to not wear short and no shirt with vinyl seats or you kept a beach towel to lay over the seat. The molten vinyl just sticks to the skin. A lot worse than leather. I had a '66 VW Bug with vinyl seats. No air-conditioning, of course back then... 6V electrical system to boot.![]()
Mine is off the train and hopefully will be at the dealer soon. So I celebrated by ordering these too!Got shipment email from Quadratec for my mirrors. So they’re shipping early!
