Omg, my local dealer got not one, but two 2 doors in today...

A loaded black sport S (would rather get a no frills Rubicon for close to that price), and a white base sport with a limited slip.

I am torn between liking the spartan no frills nature of the base sport, and kinda wanting to go full gonzo and wait for the red rubi they have coming in transit.

Atleast I can go test drive a 2 door and decide how well I fit at least!

Am pretty excited, like a kid with Christmas finally coming

Well, after a nice rest in her new home last night, I took Stormie out this morning to play.

My red 2dr rubi w/pst arrived at dealer yesterday when closed. Born on 4th of July has new meeting. Dealer called this morning at 8:00 but Jeep did not get serviced to pickup till 3:00 PM so I told them 9:00 am tomorrow so I could spend the day going over every thing on it

Picked up today looked great except top was wrinkled above driver door and tires aired up high heaven half of the fuses and relays not seated worst pre delivery service ever. Sure enough it rained this afternoon and top leak badly where wrinkled also when door is open water comes off front of rain gutter like full open hose on inside of door, seat and floor. Not happy

Rain always comes flowing in with the door open even on the JK's.. I always tried to park with drivers side to the higher side of spots when it is raining to avoid this. There is no rain gutter really always gets pants soaked :P

My 2004 Accord has more tech than a JL Sport. I'm legitimately looking forward to going back to basics.

I still can't believe the way this thing rides!
Mine has very little play in the steering so it's very responsive. The standard transmission is a dream. If the base models ride this well, I can only imagine what the Rubies ride like. So for anyone thinking of just getting the base, fear not! She'll definitely get the job done!

My first four are up! I'll get one together with her all cleaned up tomorrow. I'm consulting my wife on the name....her phoenix orange range Rover is ginger.........any ideas?

"Shadow" is a cool name for her. I chose "Stormie" because I've always called that color "storm cloud grey."
