wow, ive been out on the trails twice and went camping, still under 500 miles. its a garage ornament during the week tho.
Yeah, this became my daily driver and my wife and I have logged quite a few miles out cruising around the countryside. I still haven't really had a chance to get it off road much (but that will change soon enough ;)).

Speaking of JL steering (and even other issues) I have noticed more than a few posts where people say they did not test drive their Jeep. That.... does not seem smart. I suppose on a custom order in the excitement of it all it is easy to just want to get done as quickly as possible, but in my opinion a test drive is a must before I take delivery.

I test drove mine to check it out. Truth be told, I probably wouldn't have if it was the one I ordered (which still is nowhere to be found).

Soooooo just got off the phone with my dealer and they state my rig has made it all the way from Toledo to Mass and is slated at the dealership latest this Friday. (?)
The people at FCA #866 didn’t even know my rig was made!
I don’t know who to believe

Went to bug my dealer again today & met the regional Jeep rep. Dealer was making excuses & rep told him to pull up my order and, low and behold, I've got a VIN and all restrictions were removed. Status: D

The credit union's check stays in the glove box of my previous vehicle until I personally inspect and test drive my factory order. I'm not gonna hear bullshit from my Extremely Professional Sales Consultant on it.

I think it'll be a good idea for me to get it up to high speed on the interstate. 75+. Just to be sure. My commute is 70mph most of the way.

Having just gotten mine, I will say it's hard to work.

I keep going to the window to spot the bit of color in the parking lot.

Trails are calling. I should be hiking a 14er this weekend, but I may just end up driving from trail to trail and prematurely loosing my new car smell.

Did you store the windows in the back of the Jeep or somewhere else?
I won’t speak for @Moosh67, but until my (backordered) window bag arrrives I am keeping my windows in between moving blankets in my garage. When the forecast is questionable, on they go. Looking forward to safely and neatly hanging them from the back seat! (I hope the bag doesn’t take 6 months to come like my Jeep did.)
We’re camping right now so we’re just keeping the windows on the bed in the camper. I need to look into the window bag. I don’t want to get stuck without windows if bad weather ever hits. Our door hangers and mirrors have arrived.

Hmm, i'm wondering if mine made it to D. Mine is a similar build, a few less options, but with LED/Premium soft top/Punk'n which I thought may slow it down.

Morning everyone! Looking forward to some delivery pics today :)

And hopefully more info on my order. O and a response from my sales rep on my appraisal number. She is generally super awesome but sometimes can be hard to get a response from. And the whole not giving a number right away after looking my car over is silly. I am not looking to do a bunch of negotiation on it, just want to see if they meet CarMax offer or how close they come. Won’t hurt me to do either one, just a bit more planning if I go CarMax.

Anyways, hoping today brings better news for me and others waiting!
FYI, Henna in Austin will give you $500 more than a car max written offer within I believe 8 days of the offer.

The dealer! I kept getting “no delivery scheduled” from 866 and dealer called the next morning. I was shocked!! Fingers crossed! Looking forward to your pictures!!
