After I told my salesman I had gone another route getting the Jeep he just asked me to confirm if I do get it since he has several people waiting to pick up a 2 door rubicon with the six speed. So Id doubt it would take him more than 48 hrs to sell it. As soon as my order arrived he called me to confirm and he had someone on their way to pick it up. Those 2 doors are not sitting long on the lots.

I know. I'ma buy . He knows it I know it. Waited too long.

I didn't tell him direct. He passed the buck and sent me a text he sent to his regional guy about when it will get picked up. So I replied telling him to tell his regional rep it's gotta be on a truck Friday because his customer is charging him 50 bucks a day outta da d&d....

So he can take it like a joke or serious...he hasn't replied so I think he gets the point. Do something. Get it on a truck....make your customer happy

Decided by the time I get this Jeep I’m just going to enjoy Summer and mod it slowly. So I decided to piss off my dealer and order some MT BajaMTZ P3s in 285/70/17 (which fit without a lift) which I’m having delivered to the dealership so when my rig gets there they can swap out the factory ones for these. So now the joke is on the dealer cause they have to store my tires for me and take up space for however long it takes to get my JL.
It’s the little annoyances that count. Lol

Estimated build was supposed to be this week for me. Called on Monday and they had no ETA, didn't get any emails yet, dealer emailed this morning and said he sees nothing either

Starting to get super bummed, looks like my 6-8 weeks I was told initially really means 6-8 months. Ordered on 2/20.

I went through a super low point in my wait 3-4 weeks ago. Started taking my frustrations out on Jeep Chat, getting short with my dealer, calling the hotlines regularly, and even got to the point of threatening to cancel. It was really frustrating since I was hoping to have the Jeep by the time my family went to the beach for a week over Memorial Day. Of course, none of it really helped at all and if anything made me feel worse about the situation. Low and behold, I learned last week that I made D1 and my build date is the 27th. My dealer hot tagged my build yesterday, or at least is prepared to the moment it comes off the assembly line, so my hope is that the wait won't go on too much longer. I guess what I'm trying to get at is to hang in there. The ups and downs are normal and eventually it will all pay off.

Well, the 20th has come and gone and still no Jeep. Called my sales guy today and he said they can't track the train and when it shows up, it shows up. My cryptosticker showed up 7 June, so maybe I'll have it in another week, hopefully... I'm getting excited seeing all the others that have been delivered and want mine too! First world problem, my Jeep is late...

Absolutely crazy. Sad. Anything built or ordered before February seems to be an issue for some reason.

mmm yeah, I haven't gotten upset with Jeep chat or my dealer. I'm civil, but they know I'm not very happy about it. It's just frustrating that it's impossible to get a straight answer from anybody. The wait from D1 to built has been the worst so far. The change of status to D1 gives you that spark of hope, but nobody has any clue when it'll actually build lol. Could be a few days could be a few weeks.

At least once it ships there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Here's to hoping all us January and February orders build up next week.
