I occupy myself by spending money on my JL I don't have yet.

4 Door JLU sales slowing?

Was at my local dealer yesterday and he has 12 JLU's on the lot and no JL's

Makes me wonder why Jeep is slow making the JL's when it looks like the JLU pipeline is filling up.

Exactly, Then you see orders going to D1 in 2 weeks (link below) you have to believe it’s a JLU as that just doesn’t happen to us 2 door people.

Happy for anyone getting their order built quickly but wouldn’t it be nice if they shut down 4 door production for just one day and built nothing but 2 doors, At ~1000 Jeep’s built per day one would think that all exsisting 2 door orders would be caught up in that one day

Wonder if it’s more of a supply chain availability that is keeping two door production so low.

Might be, but remember, ALL Jeeps, for the whole world, come out of that factory.

Well, that and there is one three person shop that is making the headliners, by hand - and they only ship on Wednesdays. And, two of them were on vacation in Europe last month. But, they are really nice and totally worth it, you won’t regret that you ordered one.
( yes, that is the same vendor shop that makes the Premium Soft Top )

It's awfully quiet here today-I hope that all of you that have your new JLs are out enjoying them, and those waiting like me are doing something to distract themselves!

Was out distracting myself with Colorado, but I'll check in now that lazy Sunday is setting in.

I took my JKU out since my daughter wasn't home and the brakes are squeaking and the gascap message and eng light are on. I swear she just turns up the radio and closes her eyes. Well the cap light, I cleaned the filler neck flange and the cap seal. Should hopefully clear itself after a few cycles and the brake squeak is just going to have to squeak till it gets traded. Whoever thought it would be more than 6months to get a Jeep
