My dealer is like "congrats your Jeep has been built and has been shipped to the body vendor". Uhm I've been in JB for almost 2 weeks now you knob.

I think the most frustrating part is that theres no-one to complain to that actually cares. I message the jeep care email with this long complaint of how pathetic they are and Jeff replies saying congratulations on purchasing your Jeep ill be happy to keep you updated on the build status. Errrr maaa grrrrrd

In any other industry the company would be all like apologizing and dealing with you personally Jeep is just like flipping the bird.

My birthday has come and gone. Long weekend is coming and going. Next month Vancouver trip is probably going to come and go, and no Jeep.

Was just thinking the same. Why do they even take custom orders so early in production? Yet here we are, all of us, griping and waiting.

Called customer service-verified D1 with en estimated ship date of June 5th.

While not a two door, I found another punkn Jeep today. They bought from Koons. That's a long trip to where I live.

Right here is an example of no logic in the build process, one ordered 12/7/2017 and one ordered 3/7/2018 (3 months apart) yet they both went to D1 at the same time.

Not a reply, but an observation. First I started with a VON (Vehicle Order Number) then a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and now I have a Case Number, but still no 2 door Jeep Wrangler JL. I'm remaining positive and appreciate this open Forum as a discussion board to live vicariously through those fortunate enough to actually drive the rig.

The good thing is that from the initial notification that the Jeep was on its way, now it has more brothers and sisters on their way out west and won't be an orphan. No orphan train out west any more.

I just discovered iamjake (YouTube channel), which will definitely help me put my (very) minor grievances such as this one in perspective. Wow - this guy knows how to make the most of a Jeep!

I just watched a couple of his videos! Double WOW! That is the way to go!

Pretty sure that has to do with the newer order having a hardtop. Current holdup is Premium Soft Tops, which started last week.

Definitely, the Sahara looked very domesticated. My Rubi is a wild beast.

2 Door production started April 9th (I thought) so the fact that one ordered back in early December is just now hitting D1 doesn't make sense, in looking at cryptostickers I see orders from December/January with no build sheet and others from March and April with window stickers. It cannot be all due to PST can it?

O for sure some of it is due to some form of stupid and I think the build orders can be rather random, but I think the PST plays a factor in many of the old builds.

I have a regular soft top, but I see no indication those have started and I never heard they were a hold up(compared to premium). Tis all BS any way one tries to rationalize the "delays"
