2 DOOR JL build/order discussions master thread

O for sure some of it is due to some form of stupid and I think the build orders can be rather random, but I think the PST plays a factor in many of the old builds.

it seems that getting to D1 is related to material availability on some option or another, but then once in d1, you USUALLY go to build in 2 or 3 weeks. in this case, i got D1 a week earlier than the december order did, but we hit build dates together

My dealer is like "congrats your Jeep has been built and has been shipped to the body vendor". Uhm I've been in JB for almost 2 weeks now you knob.

I think the most frustrating part is that theres no-one to complain to that actually cares. I message the jeep care email with this long complaint of how pathetic they are and Jeff replies saying congratulations on purchasing your Jeep ill be happy to keep you updated on the build status. Errrr maaa grrrrrd

In any other industry the company would be all like apologizing and dealing with you personally Jeep is just like flipping the bird.

My birthday has come and gone. Long weekend is coming and going. Next month Vancouver trip is probably going to come and go, and no Jeep.

I will try to at least order some good weather up here in Vancouver for your trip next month!

Monday went to KZS that isn't even listed on codes. Tuesday "Nicole" emailed with
an ETA of May 31. This morning 877 said ETA May 31. Not listed on "Build a Jeep"
I have listed the above info because WHO are we going to believe.
TODAY 12:08 PM Dealer called they were unloading it off transporter. Yes finally
here since 1-11-18 order date. I will (hope) be getting her tomorrow !!!!

I finally got a ship date of 5/30/18 on my JLR. Firecracker Red, Fenders and Top match body. Auto, Steele Bumper group and all other options offered except a soft top. Dealer told me those were not available yet. Leather Seats and audio upgrade.

Getting hard to wait.

I ordered what seems to be the same. It seemed the color match fenders and hard top were slow. I've moved quickly this week and went to JS last night. When did you order?

Good point, I think FCA sent us rain for 5 months this past winter. I am hoping to get my Jeep before the rains return in October/November!
