I'm busy getting my stuff finalized but I have to say this thing drives like a dream. Going with a stick was definitely a good choice. It feels perfect. Also I'm proud I didn't stall out, it's been 5 years since I've driven a manual.
Um, I stalled mine. :blush:
I laughed...and said, “I remember the first time I drove a manual.” :giggle::facepalm::like:

Well looks like I have time now. Took two of my girls to a party and they ran off with friends.

So my initial impression when I rounded the corner and the dealership came into view, my Jeep stood out over ever vehicle in the lot. I'm so glad I picked punkn. It was definitely love at first sight.

Build quality so far seems very good. I crawled under and looked everything over. Welds look great and nothing seemed out of place.

The doors, tailgate and rear window all feel very solid. Open and close smoothly and feel great.

The manual transmission is awesome. Much better than I imagined. It shifts smooth and feels great. The clutch engages smoothly and already feels very natural.

Uconnect and Android auto work great. I initially set up just the Bluetooth connection and the music wasn't very crisp. I was very disappointed. Once I connected the USB cable everything was better. The Alpine system sounds very nice. I'd like a little more bass but can't complain.

I had no excessive wind noise. No whistling or buffeting wind. I drove for about 50 miles with no radio at highway speeds and tire/wind noise was better than any other Jeep I've ever driven.

If you read the forum thread about tall people not fitting well in their Jeep, that totally doesn't apply here. I'm 6'2" 220 and fit perfect. I have plenty of head room and the instrument cluster is 100% visible. Also I have enough knee room so my knees don't hit the steering column .That's rare for me in any car. Only bad thing is no place to rest your foot next to the clutch. My leg got pretty tired at the end of my 2.5 hour drive home.

That's it for now. Back to my kids

I ordered from Airport. They said I was the first 2 door they received and first sting gray.
I can’t explain it, but it made it to town from Alorton in 2 days if the tracking sheet status has the right dates. Good luck!
I thought that one might be yours! Funny, it's till showing "in transit" on jeep.com! Lol! Have fun with her! You're the first to be riding a unicorn in these here parts!

@jman, can you measure the distance between the bottom of the door and the ground? Need to know if I need steps for my girlfriend
