Threaten to cancel. Bet you go d1 in less than a week

You can't cancel technically. You can just back out of your purchase agreement and the dealer will have no trouble selling a "sold order" to someone else.

You really won't get an answer from them, Most of what they say appears to be copy and past replies. They have me in D1 for 38 days now. But there may be a bit of lag time in what they report to you.

Yea. But my dealership tells me literally nothing so I just do it to keep my hopes and dreams alive lol.

so today browsing the dealer inventory on the build site i see a new two door rubi in transit thats similar to mine but to another dealer. i contact them about its status and if its sold, sadly yes, it was ordered. a lil small talk, i tell him i would of bought as soon as it hit the lot, well come talk, we will order you one, LOL tell him mines been ordered since february. im just growing impatient, i tell him, we are attempting the rubicon trail again in July and was hoping the JL could make it. So, funny thing is, not long after this conversation, MY dealer calls (they had to have talked) tells me that nothings changed much as in the status but that he expects it should be done before months end and that even with shipping that i will and should get it before my TRIP date of the 2nd week of July. this poor guy, should i feel bad? well this got me thinking. shit, if it does make it by July, i will have about zero build time! so, ordered the minimum gear necessary. Ordered the winch mounting bracket, a winch, synthetic rope, doorless mirrors, recovery strap, roll bar grab handles and a shackle hitch reciever. sheesh. just empty every pocket. dressing up Jeep 2 is fun, nerve wracking and expensive. especially when its for a vehicle that you dont even own yet!

A lot of folks are stocking up on goodies while they wait.

81 days and I made it to D1 status. Under event it was "VIN ASSIGNMENT". LOL! I'm stoked because I was starting to doubt my dealer of ever putting in my order.

Ordered 1/6. Mine was built on May 5th and has been in JB since. Pending inspection! Watching 3 different tracking it appears a lot of 2drs are ending up in JS, JP or I codes for extended periods of time. Wants up?

I guess I can start to get excited. As I previously said I was told through an unnamed informant that on Tuesday I was in paint (F) around 6 PM, then around 3:30 AM Thursday in trim (G), and as of yesterday afternoon inspection (I). Keep in mind I had called Jeep in the previous weeks and told it was built when it wasn't and upon checking the latest spreadsheet update this AM it listed me as D1 still. So having one source that is real time to the minute, and one daily source that may not even be for the day of the update I figured I would take a chance and call Jeep see what happens. Their answer was I as well. So depending on the "lag time" of the spreadsheet we all are probably further along than we think! Another bit of encouraging news is that my first order (Dec 18th) , a Granite Sport S is in transit to my dealer along with a few more to be for sale, and hopefully my Rubi not far behind. Maybe they will hold the truck for my Rubi! Good luck to all, stay positive, we are near the finish line!
