most of these “mods”are on my list as well but wondering what the hole on the windshield washer reservoir cap is for? That one I’ve never heard of?

Well, I have done the following on the 2dr. since I got it yesterday:

• Washed & Waxed
  
• 3M film applied to door sills and door hinges
  
• Installed Mopar Door Sill Guards
  
• Installed Gorilla Automotive Black Factory Style Wheel Lock System
  
• Removed Visor Stickers
  
• Programmed Homelink Remote
  
• Completed Install of 3rd Brake Light Relocation Kit
  
• Installed 6 D-Rings in Cargo Area
  
• Installed 2 Molle bags on backs of the front seats
  
• Painted Muffler & Tailpipe with black Rustoleum
  
• Drilled hole in Windshield Washer Reservoir Cap
  
• Installed WeatherTech Floorliners
  
• Installed AntennaX 24" CB AM/FM Antenna
  
• Installed OEM 8.4" Infotainment Center Screen Protector
  
• Installed Frt. License Plate bracket
  
• Installed license plates with stainless steel /black screws
  
• Installed Harley Davidson Trailer Receiver Plug
  
• Installed RavPower Red USB Power Adapter

Note: I made my own, through, exam of the underside of the JL.... No rust and all welds look aok

Keeps back pressure in the system from causing washer fluid to leak out the rear nozzle.

Thanks, makes sense I guess for those running a hard top. Having had a soft top JK for the last 9 years and ordering a JL soft top no wonder it didn’t make sense to me

Yes, the welds all looked aok. Everything under there painted up real nice with no sign of rust. Also, vehicle's paint job was blem free. I found nothing wrong with the vehicle... and I am pickier then chitt..

That used to be my only and biggest major concern--until the steering issues starting seeming semi-prevalent

so today browsing the dealer inventory on the build site i see a new two door rubi in transit thats similar to mine but to another dealer. i contact them about its status and if its sold, sadly yes, it was ordered. a lil small talk, i tell him i would of bought as soon as it hit the lot, well come talk, we will order you one, LOL tell him mines been ordered since february. im just growing impatient, i tell him, we are attempting the rubicon trail again in July and was hoping the JL could make it. So, funny thing is, not long after this conversation, MY dealer calls (they had to have talked) tells me that nothings changed much as in the status but that he expects it should be done before months end and that even with shipping that i will and should get it before my TRIP date of the 2nd week of July. this poor guy, should i feel bad? well this got me thinking. shit, if it does make it by July, i will have about zero build time! so, ordered the minimum gear necessary. Ordered the winch mounting bracket, a winch, synthetic rope, doorless mirrors, recovery strap, roll bar grab handles and a shackle hitch reciever. sheesh. just empty every pocket. dressing up Jeep 2 is fun, nerve wracking and expensive. especially when its for a vehicle that you dont even own yet!
