2 DOOR JL build/order discussions master thread

HUGE NEWS for me, not so much everyone else. But, my dealer texted me this morning out of the blue (I have only emailed him once to request the VIN). He said he was just checking on all his orders and mine has entered "F" (paint). Whoohoo!
Now I have to avoid Sweetwater purgatory of being trapped in a lot somewhere waiting to be shipped.

I have been in F one week now. No idea what this means in the big scheme, we will see. I ordered on 3/7, hardtop. It’s an ocean blue, I don’t know where that color stands, but definitely jlu’ in blue have been made. My dealer has one.

My case manager had emailed and said I had gone thru the line and the tracker didn't show it, I was still D1, you may have moved along before #fuckfca updated the system.

I hope that is the case. I am getting my info via messenger from someone who works there. I was told around around 6 PM yesterday I was in paint, then around 0230 I was in G and should be completed today. Really hope it is so after being told twice on the Jeep phone line It was built.

I just want to state for the record that I sincerely feel heartbroken for the people who have been & are still continuing to wait. I can’t stand that there is no rhyme or reason to how this botched process has unfolded. Congratulations... did you order PST ? I order 2/16 red rubi, 2 door with PST. and I haven't moved at all. but i'm very excited to finally see that 2 doors are coming..

Well, maybe for all except those of us who are still lost in D and have been told we aren't even in the line up till at least mid-June... which probably means anywhere between August through January 2019.
