That seems rather far south to ship north. Do you see Swanton Ohio anywhere
in your info? It is supposed to be the shipping hub for rail and truck.

I agree, opposite direction fo sho!!!

I haven’t seen Swanton on anything of mine. There are a few people in NY state who have said they are listed in Nitro.

What a trip. No wonder they can not get to dealers. Swanton Ohio is South
about 20 miles from the factory.

That mentality is not one everyone can subscribe to. You end up buying a fully loaded vehicle that way. Shit adds up.

I prefer to look at overall costs. When I walk into dealerships and they say "what kind of monthly payment are you looking for", I say "the one that spending no more than $XX,000 gets you".

I'm already way over my budget ceiling with the JL, thanks to the $3800 generation increase, haha. I'm just trying to keep it under $30k otd now

Understand completely. I am fortunate to be retired from a State Government Job of 31 years. I'll be 65 years old next month so this is my life long dream car after driving a Ram, 4 Runner, and Challenger to name a few. I am just happy for all the new prospective Jeep Wrangler owners and their excitement for this new generation JL Jeep ownership.

Cryto shows a lot of 4 doors being built, but ver few 2 doors also, I ordered 12/15 (over 21 weeks ago) and some of these folks are less than a month.

I think bs how they are treating the 2 door orders. Especially the bs they feed us on the PST delays and how they keep pumping out the 4 door PST. Now I'm considering getting a 2 door JLR with a hard top since I've found 3 canceled orders on my surrounding states that are to be delivered any day now..

Yes, but at the first sign of delay, I changed to a black hardtop and went to D1 the next Monday. Been in and out of D1 several times and no idea when it might build

In my 31405 area of 150 miles, there are 611 jlu’s, mostly delivered, and 1 only 2-door that has been 90 miles away pending delivery for 2 weeks now. Didn’t take time to look soft tops, but bet many are.

Im still on D status and they just told me I'm in the schedule for a mid/late June build now when i ordered on Dec.

I travel a lot for my work, from
SoCal to Midwest and east coast.
I've been searching every Jeep dealer, just to glimpse the elusive 2dr, even if it's before delivery to an early buyer.

No such luck.... from Dayton Ohio, to central and Fairfield Connecticut, to New Jersey and Philadelphia area, to now down here around Sarasota Fl..... nothing to be found.

However, there are a lot of four door JLs, loaded to the nines on the lots... and an ample but dwindling supply of JK two doors.
Dealers are all saying 'at least six more weeks'.

I suspect FCA has not only supplier and delivery issues, but may purposely be holding back dealer supply of two doors to clear out the majority of the JKs first.
So much for my getting one before my early July trip to Cape Cod.

Then again.... my JK wrangler is fine, with low miles, and really this is a first world non- problem when you get down to it.

Tomorrow is 133 days or 19 weeks, since my order was placed. My case manager says it is built and released but he is the only one. Both tracking services and my dealer still have it in D1. Maybe July or August I will be in my new 2 door

Tomorrow is 126 days for me. I'm just plain pissed off! No reason for this nonsense whatsoever!
