On a new topic, I'm hoping someone can point me to a post on this site from a vendor selling precut Xpel paint protection just for the door hinges. I’ve been searching this site, and I can’t find it. Has anyone else seen this and know who that vendor is?

I ordered a 2-door Rubicon on 12/11/2017, V6, manual, tow, cold weather, and led packages. Silver - upgraded to ocean blue 2/16/18. It is stuck in D1 status. The first ship date was 4/20/18, now the ship date is 5/10/18. Cryptostickers still says "Not Found". My dealer says to be patient as he has had vehicles show up on the truck that were still in D or D1 status. I hope to be driving it this summer - maybe

Get a printed copy of your POC. I’ve had over a dozen and they’ve always been accurate. Build sheets and stickers don’t show up until 24 to 48 hours after build. Ship date is the build date and has nothing to do with delivery.

Mine went really fast once I hit that point. At my dealer less than two weeks from going into paint. I know that hasn't been th case for many, but here's hoping it is for you!

Im seriously considering dumping the PST and adding the Turbo engine.. 23/25mpg sounds a lot nicer than 18/23

Current price for regular here is $2.99 per gallon, and premium is $3.59. Combined EPA for the 2 door automatic 3.6L is 20 mpg, and for 2.0L is 24 mpg. At those prices, in 100,000 miles the 6 cylinder would take $14,950 in fuel, and the 4 cylinder would require $14,959 - and that doesn't even count the $1,000 extra for 4 cylinder engine.

Unless maybe you really need/want the extra torque, the economics don't make sense for the 4 banger.

Number of pictures on this site showing hinges chipped from stones thrown by front wheels. Never has been an issue with my JK, but for some reason, it has apparently become one for JLs.

You don’t have to run Premium. They issued # for Turbos on regular, too.
