I'm on the tracking list and I'm seeing new 4 doors from April get D1 status. I ordered 2/23 and not even a VIN. What the helllll?!?!?

Something's wrong. Get a Priced Order Confirmation printout from your dealer. It has to have a VIN, otherwise you're not even in D status which is achievable from just about any dealer in a matter of days.

The initial POC didn't have a VIN. I'll double check to see if it was updated. Thanks for the tip.

I ordered a 2 door with PST on April 19th with Tri City in Eden NC. They provided me a VIN # in 3 days and a great deal! D status, VIN # assigned and firm build.. Hoping for a 8 week delivery.

Did you guys hear about the fire at a parts manufacturer that is shutting down Fords truck lines? I hear they made a part for the jeeps too.

I ordered a 2 door with PST on April 19th with Tri City in Eden NC. They provided me a VIN # in 3 days and a great deal! D status, VIN # assigned and firm build.. Hoping for a 8 week delivery.

The good news is you won't be waiting as long as those of us who ordered in the December - February time frame. 8 weeks is definitely possible for you. I'm on week 15 but my Jeep is built should be delivered next week.

The only fire I know of is the one that needs to be lit under someones ass at FCA to answer the question "where is my Jeep?"

I really think a lot of the delays with the JLU and JL was due to the tremendous inventory of JKs that are sitting unsold on lots. Jeep should have made a clean break from the JK in September 2017 or waited to sell the JL until September 2018. Having said that Im so looking forward to driving my 2 door JL at the beach this summer at Ft. Fisher and Carolina Beach.

I really think a lot of the delays with the JLU and JL was due to the tremendous inventory of JKs that are sitting unsold on lots. Jeep should have made a clean break from the JK in September 2017 or waited to sell the JL until September 2018. Having said that Im so looking forward to driving my 2 door JL at the beach this summer at Ft. Fisher and Carolina Beach.

I agree with that. they never should have run a 2018 JK and JL at the same time. I believe since I have shipping data its accurate because every day its delayed costs someone money. I just wish we could get a daily update as to where it is. UPS and the Post Office allow us to track
