Nice! I went with a Sport S with the idea of using money saved for some basic things for Jeep and the rest on other stuff. Now it appears it’s just all going to the Jeep :cwl:I am not doing' upgrades yet. I am only adding "BlackVue" cameras front and back

Which shop did you go to?Since we have time I have been looking into what kind of upgrades I want to do. Nothing too serious. Then I went to a Jeep shop a friend referred me to..... one that is 3 miles from my house. I am in so much trouble, somebody stop me!
Owner is a way cool dude, walked me through and showed me examples of things soooooo.... lookin like I will be his first two door JL. And he does this thing where he runs beginners through trails at a nearby off-road park. Starts with basic trails then works up with showing how to learn to find the right grooves, etc.

I also live a couple miles from him. Was planning on stopping in once my Jeep shows up. Have a road trip up to Maine planned with my daughter leaving end of June for 2-3 weeks, kind of afraid my Jeep is going to show up right after we leave. I ordered on 2/6.Baldy’s Jeep shop
Nice! He came highly recommended by a coworker. She does most her own work and takes it in for bigger jobs. Very busy there, he had a load of Jeeps lined up for work. And again super friendly and very knowledgeable. Think he owns like 7 Jeeps!I also live a couple miles from him. Was planning on stopping in once my Jeep shows up. Sure does! Hang in there!Well it's Friday night and no Jeep. My Rubicon is on the slowest transporter they
could find. Or I really can believe it is at the dealership and they won't say anything
as it needs to be gone over before I get it. And being the weekend no service dept.
to do that. As plastic off the seats, test drive, cleaned up, and protective coating
applied inside and out (an extra they do). Sales manager knows I am excited to
get it and he will hold off on contacting me. Sounds good to me and calms me
down. Looks like Monday should be the day. Sound good to you ??
LMFAO!I am a retired Electrician . How did the 2dr wiring harness make it back to the 4dr tail lights?
Wire strechers are VERY hard to come by. Yet a driveshaft strecher now thats not possible.
Any one care to add?

Drillionaire....is that you? Lol :cwl:He says it was because of both a crash test issue and 4dr demand. I don't see anything inconsistent with that. The original 2017 JL roll-out schedule called for JLU production to start on October 16, 2017 and have the 2dr production start staggered to Feb 12, 2018. I'm sure that decision was in recognition of the higher JLU demand. In Feb 2018, it looks like FCA came close to hitting the 2dr start target when something happened. Myself and a few others found ourselves in D1 status at that time and I had an estimated ship date of Feb 24. However, around Feb 20, everyone in D1 was pushed back to D. Obviously something emergent caused the change and a crash test issue makes sense.
Personally, I don't see the point of jumping on Drillionaire for this when he likely had nothing to do with the scheduling decisions. The guy is spending as much as 3 hours a day keeping us 2dr customers informed of our status when there isn't anyone in FCA customer support that seems to give a damn. If this keeps this up, we'll have no one.
