I’ve yet to get a reply from the email I sent to the new place Wednesday night. No surprise there whatsoever.
However, according to Drillionaire my girl should be built next week!!!!!

I called the new Jeep Wrangler Customer Care line (1-866-362-2146) to check on the status of my order placed on 3/2/18. They were very pleasant and told me I went to D1 on April 20th. I asked what that meant and she put me on hold for a few minutes then came back with more details (see below).

D Status on March 5th
D1 Status on April 20th
Build Date Plan May 7th
Usually ready in a couple of weeks after build begins

If all goes well I should have my Jeep by the end of May.

The Jeep order status phone line just told me I am in KZ status, but she seemed unsure of her answer somehow, so Im taking it with a grain of salt. Yesterday I was in D1, so Im not sure if KZ already is realistic. If i go by past experience when I call tomorrow Im going to be back in D again

Finally got a response, which matches what Drillionaire said!

I just received almost exactly the same email. Only difference being my name, my vin, and her name was Nicole. Still hopefull it’s accurate.

Just called the 866 number myself after they promised to call me back yesterday but did not. My news wasn't so good. Just wanted an answer to the question of what is keeping my order in d status for 7 weeks with no progression to d1? Order date mar 7.

1st answer. 2 door wranglers can take up to 18 weeks for order to delivery.

2nd answer (because I very politely mentioned that my question was different and related to d to d1). If it hasn't progressed to d1 in the next 10 days, you can call back and we can look into it. And that it is the normal condition for my order to still be in d.

We understand there is some speculation regarding the timing of delivery for your new Wrangler JL and I am here to assist you. Please know that Wrangler JL production is still in a launch phase and timing will vary depending on your unique specific configuration. Our resources indicate your vehicle was ordered with the Premium Sunrider Soft Top. 2-Door Wranglers ordered with this top are not slated to begin production until mid-May. Please keep in mind as this timing is projected, it is subject to change. I will continue to track the status of your 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon order & provide any and all updates as they become available. That doesnt even make sense. Did they disassemble the Jeep that was already built? Maybe I should go offer my Software Architectural services to FCA as their systems clearly need some work haha

I ordered 1 Feb and only moved to D1 like a week ago... Think you got some more waiting to do

It seems like my KZ status was also wrong. I really wanted to believe it. Now it seems like my build is scheduled for 7th May. I could tell that the lady on the phone wasnt sure of what she was saying when she said KZ

Got an email response back on my order. Aside from the mid May for PST, based on when my order was placed, 3/17, build date is slated for early June. I am good with that
