According to my calendar it is mid April. Lets see some movement of the current D1 crowd advance to E status tomorrow! I am getting tired of watching Jeep videos, commercials and so on. Time to get in the drivers seat!

Am I the only one jonesin for a bunch of delivered 2 door pics to start populating this thread over the next two weeks? Amazing how difficult it is to show people what I ordered.....the ordering config pic just doesn't cut it. Managed to get a pic pretty close in 4 door but that ain't right...

I told Kim at Superior on Friday that I had purchased another auto and won't be taking delivery of my ordered JL, ordered 1/22. It's probably on the assembly line now. I felt bad for her as she has been great throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend Kim in Conway at Superior Five Star Jeep. But, as I told her, she didn't cost the sale, Jeep's arrogance and information blackout lost the sale by pushing my brand loyalty too far as well as all the first run production gremlins. I certainly am not hating on the Wrangler, just fed up with FCA for a while. I still watch the post and look forward to you guys's driver experiences. Jeep on!
Also, she said 8 had cancelled their orders with her. I suspect Jeep is really pushing many brand loyalists away for now.

Hate to hear that... I do believe we are on the verge of seeing some real progress. Two doors are being built, and 4 doors have been rolling out well. I’ll continue calling my dealer every 2 weeks or so (more, he ignores me), and be pleasantly surprised when I see my order finally progress. This is my first wrangler and I mean to get it!! Lol

I was on Jeep chat today and they won't give me any indication of if the 2 doors have started production, where
I am in the build process and if there are any delays in any specific options. At this point, I have 0 idea on where, when or if I'll get my 2 door S. This is my first Jeep or for that matter an FCA vehicle... not off to a great start. I understand that there are delays with a new model but the lack of transparency if a HUGE concern... 50/50 if I don't just walk away... anyone talk me off the ledge?

Plenty others here already have, and rightfully so. The 2 door situation and lack of information is unacceptable from a competent car company. FCA is surprisingly autistic on the whole, and I would really like them to sell Jeep to someone that can get themselves dressed in the morning.
It's a labor of love to want a 2 door JL. I feel like years down the road 2 door 2018 owners will be their own special club, a band of brothers.

I wouldn't trust Jeep Chat to tell me the weather. From all the info on the forum it seems best to avoid them entirely. Just periodically contact one's dealership.

According to my Dealer, my 2 door Wrangler has been built, which is pretty cool. We have all custom ordered these Jeeps (I almost wrote cars) and that is pretty cool too, with all the things we wanted or didn't want, or have dreamed about, maybe even for decades. But the Jeep, my and my wife's, has been built and as a note to real people (I know there are plenty of robots too) I sent a thank you card off to FCA Toledo Assembly Complex today. I have no idea when it will arrive, but it until it does it still made me feel better to take action and say thanks.
