I'm now glad the two door JLs are delayed. I blew out my shoulder and had it rebuilt yesterday. I won't be able to drive a stick for 4-6 weeks.

Hopefully by the time my 2 door manual Rubi is built my shoulder will be healed.

For everyone else I'm sorry you have to wait.

You should be fine as the price increase was effective March 1st. As long as your order is in as a sold order you should be good.

I contacted my dealer last week and had him email me stating my price wouldn't change once whenever the 2-Door finally arrives.

Thanks, yeah I think it would be worse if my Jeep was sitting in my driveway and I couldn't drive it. This is better.

Speculating, but D1 could just mean the start of the line in April. They might be prepping the parts for the first ones to be built, which would make sense to me for the first couple of weeks of production. As they start production and they work their way down the queue, more get added as D1, etc.

I bought on 1-1 as stated many times and I just saw on this forum someone post that the cold weather package doesn' include the block heater any more. I hope Jeep stays with my order and includes that as well as the offroad pages

I agree with AdHerp. It is almost like they are screwing with us by putting a two door in D1 and getting our hopes up! I would however get excited when I see a bunch of us go to D1 as it would be more credible information that the 2 door build was starting. Till then all we can do is keep hoping to see a bunch of us move forward!

I'm still waiting for someone to post a POC showing D1 status on a 2dr. I don't trust Jeep Chat so, as far as I can tell, there is only one confirmed D1 2dr and even it has an anomaly. It's listed on this site's tracking spreadsheet, and what's strange, is that the event date for reaching D1 is Feb 9. That's the date that a number of 2dr's temporarily went D1, but were pushed back to D within a week. If FCA was truly rescheduling 2drs back to D1 you would think it would have a recent event date. It also seems strange that D1 status is being assigned four weeks in advance of the scheduled start of production, when last time, it was done only a week in advance. It's not unheard of, but very unusual for a build to be in D1 status for weeks.

I have to admit that all of this could be sour grapes on my part because I WAS ONCE AT D1 and haven't been scooped up in this restart To honest with myself, the best outcome for all of us with 2dr orders is to see movement to D1 starting now, even if I'm not currently included. I'm just hoping we soon start seeing multiple confirmed reports of 2Dr D1s.

I was the first person to drive the first two my dealer got in, back in January! Makes it harrrrrrrd knowing what’s coming!!!!

I got to see the first two JLU Rubi’s in my area that a dealer got in for a car show in January. One in black and one in granite, I drove the loaded granite, I was impressed with them. Except two things, the wind noise over 65 mph, I believe air was coming in around the windshield and Freedom panels and the black model’s trunk didn’t shut properly, seem to be two recurring issues.

Us 2 door buyers are gonna have an exclusive rig. I don't think there's gonna be a large number of 2018 JL 2 doors produced.

I don't know if this is funny or sad, jeeps two big Superbowl commercials featured 2dr jl wranglers yet you can't buy a 2dr jl anywhere in the country yet and won't be able too for at least 6 weeks!
