I got my recall notice for the frame welds today after my dealer called to tell me all was good. They took the pictures last Friday. For those on the recall list you are most likely fine. Just stop by the dealer when you get a chance for the photo session.

Made my appointment for next Friday. Welds look fine to me, so I think I’ll be in and out like you were.

I have an appointment for 11/14/2018. I think I'm good as well, but will still go in for the pictures and then have a welder review my frame sometime after.

Mine came in also, i figure my welds have been thoroughly tested already and pass inspection. Truly despise going to dealerships for much of anything, even buying the vehicle lol

I know the little Fiat I used to have (my trade in for Stormie) could have easily gotten me to this campsite without any problems.
But the cool factor is increased 100 fold with a Jeep Wrangler!

Major life change happening today. Today will be the last day I own a stick. Every car I've owned for the last 50 plus years has been a stick. My wife has always had autos. Tomorrow the JK goes to the new owner. The JL I have on order is an auto.

Thought to make the change myself to be honest. You can't go wrong really, there are so many advantages either way. Just be sure to share your thoughts once you've been out a couple of times.
