i was told again this morning chat that builds start mid april and soft top premium is likely delayed
I wonder if they're using all this extra time to fix the welds.

I'm surprise the headline isn't ".....Jeeps new 2018 2 door JL Wrangler to begin production in April of 2019..." Meanwhile, the 4 Door Wrangler has been in production for 18 months.... ( Job well done Jeep, good job pissing off 20% of your Wrangler customer base )

I’m not saying the whole premium soft top is delayed is incorrect, but it looks like rubitrux has them for the 2 and 4 door JL in stock (says Mopar twill soft top which unless I’m mistaken is the same as the premium), so I’m hoping that’s just a rumor as we’ve all been waiting long enough here. One would think that Jeep would get the tops first for production before the aftermarket got them for retail sale, but I guess you never know

i agree - keep chat is somewhat worthless for reliable information of any kind

I placed my order like 2 weeks ago, with the added bonus of soft top and Punk’n, so I expect to be in for a wait.

They are advertising as in stock, but I contacted them and said maybe next week...

Huh, I was hoping it was accurate because they show the the mopar winch kit as coming soon and the tops as in stock. Oh well.
