Well in complete honesty I didn’t do the hinge wrap yet but I did attempt the door sill cover and it was awful. It wasn’t perforated to come off from the actual backing, I mean you could see the outline but it wouldn’t separate. Wasn’t impressed with it at all
Thanks-I'll check it out before I get ready to attempt. I haven't unrolled it yet to see it.

Wow-that sucks. Although the order banks for 2-doors didn't open until 12/5/2017. Did you have a pre-order set up with your dealer or something?
I ordered 12/5 but the dealer screwed up and had to redo it on 12/12. I didn’t actually count the days just put in google. Dealer says I’ll likely get it first week of August but I think I’ll reorder a 19 instead.

Picked her her a few days ago, love the color but not liking how it doesn’t hide streaks like the grays.(lol, never owned a dark paint vehicle before)
Other than that I’m loving it, no complaints feels built well and the engine/tranny combo (auto) is the best I’ve ever had in any of my Jeeps. Feels super smooth and downright quick!
It was worth the wait

Yes... didn’t want to bother with doing a lift this summer since it’s already July so I ordered 285-70-17 MTZ P3s and had my dealer put them on at delivery. Sold the stock tires for $600

I don’t know about you but if I put it in 6th at 50mph it takes forever to get up to 75. The power band in this machine is from 2k - 3k rpm.
Me too. But if I don't need to get to a certain speed in a hurry ( like merging onto a freeway into traffic) then this is pretty much how I gear up to get the best gas mileage I can.

To all who have gotten their jeeps lately, did they come with the off road pages?

Still playing with my new toy. She got her first wax:

I also did a little bit more for looks: Painted the muffler.

I'm sure touch ups will be required, but after seeing some of the Nacho Jeep photos I was sold on a black muffler.

Nice! Did you have any trouble with the grille guard? It looks like there is a bolt in the bumper that there is no hole for on the guard base.

@Krondor

Yup, I have painted the muffler black on all my Wrangler's. A non-painted muffler hanging down on the back of a Wrangler just looks like chitt to me.

I'm lazy though, I don't pull the muffler to paint. I mask it and paint in place. No, can't get the top of the muffler, but you can't see there anyways.

Also, I found there is no need to use high heat paint unless you want to. Regular Rustoleum flat black spray paint is all I have ever used and never had any issues. I refresh.. give a fresh coat say once a year.. I wash the muffler when I was the truck.

Good morning everyone!

Last week brought us some great delivery pics from some very deserving people. We are certain to see more deliveries this week, and I suspect Cristina will be one of them. And mine!

Most recent check of jg shows mine in Kirby Texas. Near as I can tell this is where it will get loaded on a truck and off to dealership. About a 2 hour drive and dealership is one of several high volume in Austin, so guessing it won’t sit long waiting for full truck. Thinking I will go to dealership today and finalize a few things in prep for delivery :)

I thought about that, but didn't want the over spray. Kind of a longer way round but works for me and my ocd.
I hear ya.... On a new vehicle the muffler comes off pretty easy so..

As for over spray.. I too have OCD and am anal about over spray and such..

With that said, I mask off and use newspaper to isolate the area to be painted. I also have spray can in one hand and a piece of cardboard to use as an over spray guard in the other hand ...

and for sure I do not do on a breezy, windy day. 8-)

Actually, the muffler and tail pipe on a Wrangler are not hard to get at for spray painting.

No trouble at all with the grille guard. In fact, I put it on while the paperwork was being drawn up. lol

Supper easy 4 bolt install, which is why my lights are not on there yet. I am thinking about welding that bit on but have not decided yet.
