Good to know someone has installed. So how difficult is the install? Did you also install the door sill guards? Any Tips??

Installed both. Sill guards are dead simple. (They are also useless, but look cool.)

The hinge paint protection film is a pain in the ass to install. Watch the YouTube video, and be patient. Do it in the shade. (I wasn’t too anal about getting out every last air bubble. Even so, I don’t notice these are installed.)

I feel like I’m ok with it since it was self inflicted. She’s a sassy one & likes to kick rocks at herself. Being a small town girl who encounters a good bit of stone & gravel, I need to get her protected sooner rather than later. If it was a door ding caused by someone else, I’d likely be having a shit fit.

You could try a flat black touch-up paint pin. I had one for my 2015 JKUR but never needed to use it.

I'd try now-don't wait until it's built. I think it comes off the line tagged and gets expedited for inspection and shipping right away.
