You don't understand the "Hot Tag". Yes I waited too darn long. It was 1 of first
5 built. It sat there as others were being delivered. I wrote my dealer a nasty
Email that I regret as they are really good. He called his Rep that same day.
It was then "Hot Tagged" and arrived at dealership in 3 days. Why do they have
"Hot Tags" if they don't mean squat. It REALLY worked for me. They are on the
windshield for that purpose.

I mailed my dealer he said all pre-orders are "hot tagged". If thats true or not I really cant say, just what he said

Yes-I believe my dealer spoke to his regional distribution manager to "hot-tag" the vehicle. Keep in mind I ordered 12/7/17 and had been waiting a long time at that point.

For sure. 12/7 is insanely long. I ordered mine on January 29th and have a tentative build date scheduled for June 27th. I'll definitely reach out to my dealer once it is built about the possibility of hot tagging since I think my wait reaches the necessary threshold.

Jim,

The standard soft top comes with the Jeep if no optional top is selected. I was trying to point that out to you but badly it seems.

Thanks I understand your point but the time I ordered the Jeep order program for the model I chose would not allow leaving top option blank so I picked pst vs hardtop. Maybe different now or bad dealer program but others have experienced same, who knows, but I got or maybe if it ever get here(21 weeks today) what I wanted PST.

Thanks James. Though I should have ordered this sooner. Hope I get it installed before the rocks fly. I don't think $500+ for the hood is worth it, but I'll pay $20 for the hinges to not look like my old LJ.

Well the tracking site which shall not be named has me in D1, jeep chat this morning had in D ! , and the wrangler hotline just told me my jeep is built and approved for shipping with no eta as of this morning!

I'd try now-don't wait until it's built. I think it comes off the line tagged and gets expedited for inspection and shipping right away.

since the JG site hasn't been updated this morning, this is the first time my dealer reached out to me with information before i got it from jeep chat, the 866 number, or JG.... Once you are kz, jeep chat becomes completely worthless. they won't give you out the third digit on your kz status, they'll only confirm it. they won't give eta. all they will say is you are in shipping. no location....

my dealer update this morning is that train has arrived in albuquerque.... no word yet on how fast they will unload or load up to truck... hoping to pick it up on saturday but mid next week seems more likely atm

JG has had me in D1 for 2 weeks now, but every other day jeep chat would switch back and forth from D to D1 , which i still cant comprehend how it is even possible for people to be using the same system, and come up with different answers all the time!

I would think the bumper-to-bumper would cover replacement of the panels vs. having them fixed. At least the boo boo is small. This is the reason I said no more new cars after I bought my VW new. And look what I'm doing. These things are soooo expensive, especially in Canada. I'll probably have a breakdown the first door ding I get... ha ha

I feel like I’m ok with it since it was self inflicted. She’s a sassy one & likes to kick rocks at herself. Being a small town girl who encounters a good bit of stone & gravel, I need to get her protected sooner rather than later. If it was a door ding caused by someone else, I’d likely be having a shit fit.

R3 has a thread where they’re selling precut PPF for the hinges. I ordered and installed. Good product, worth the $25 and hour of aggravation to install.

Good to know someone has installed. So how difficult is the install? Did you also install the door sill guards? Any Tips??

Today I received email from cryptostickers. Build sheet was found, no sticker yet tho. I reviewed the build sheet, looks good. I am not sure what the following lines are tho -

Anyone have any insight on these, especially the last line?

Hey guys! Well, today is my keep your fingers crossed for some good news (or any news - lol) day. Sales guy told me last week that my Jeep should be in Winnipeg 20 June. We shall see! I'm staying positive cause I should have it soon! My very first Jeep - I'm getting pretty excited!
