Driving home from my daughter's softball game on Saturday, I noticed the heat wasn't really working. Flipped over to the temperature and ut was rapidly rising, and the fan was running. Outside temp in the low 40s. Highway speed, around 65mph.

Before I knew it, temp hit 255 and the red warning screen came on. Pulled over, got a tow and now it's waiting at the dealership. Snapped a few pics to show the puddle underneath.

After reading a few things here, maybe a loose connection? Anything I should talk to the dealership about specifically?

I had the exact same thing happen, towed to dealer and bolts tighten. Drove it 8 miles home and over heated. Now I'm on day 46of waiting on a new motor.

So, I had the same problems, engine got hot, fan wouldn't shut off, couldn't really see the leak spot, it ended up being the water pump, But , Just from the sudden overheat it warped the heads and Jeep had to put in a whole new motor (Under warranty ). all this happened at 30 k miles.
