@Metalcloak for Rubicon owners looking to stick with 35’s and gain a little more clearance, has any consideration been given to offering a 1.5” lift option for the JLR and JLUR? I’d love to ditch my spacer lift for a set of quality coils.

It is not something we have had many requests for so would be hard at this time to make a case for. If we get enough demand we can look into it.

Started thinking of this with mine as well. I guess on the 4 door, you could always go with the 2 door specific coils. IDK how the would handle the extra weight, but it would definitely give less than advertised.

The 2 door 2.5" springs would effectively be a 4 door 1.5" spring. We had played with this on the JKU's a while back but it didn't have much demand.

Dang @CloakedWillys, must have been a lunch break and surfing the internet!

Yeah, I thought you all brought this up JK/JKU's. I had your lift on my JK, 2.5" with all the goodies (bought through the gold trade) and absolutely loved it. The years have settled me down and looking to go lower key with the JLU. With the JLUR's, probably get by with the front springs and front LCA's for a long time and have zero issues.

I would like a 1.5” also. Really like the stock height before bumpers, winch and armor. Would like a little lift to better handle the weight and 35’s... Seems most 2.5” lifts really net 3+ and imagine 1.5” would probably be similar. I notice one of the competitors mentioned they will have a 1.5” soon.

I also am interested in a 1.5 spring lift. Please MC, make it happen for us. I loved my 3.5GC on my 2014 JKUR, but am not going to go as big or do as much serious off roading as I have in my 2014.

Eibach makes springs that lift a 4 door Rubicon 1". That would give you 1.5" of lift on a 2 door, and a slightly higher spring rate than stock, to account for steel bumpers, a winch, and skid plates.

Clayton says they have a 1.5” coming soon. Can’t wait!
They have these on preorder now. But it’s more 1.5” for a 4 door, probably more like 2+. So for a 2 door, probably somewhere between 2 and 2.5”… I just realized Metalcloak has springs specifically for the 2 door, so their 2.5” maybe closer to 2.5” or should be with all my bumpers, winch, lights and armor.

🤔

If only they would have another big sale with free shipping and I will get a few drinks ready so I can find myself ordering.
