Hey everyone... newbie Jeep owner here. Picked up a 2018 JLU Rubicon a few months ago.
I want to add a lift, wheels and tires but don't want to spend $7k+ all at once. I was thinking of doing this in stages or adding a less expensive lift and then upgrading down the line.
The Jeep is my...
Just picked up my 2019 JLUR today. 35's are on order and should arrive next week. The take off's look great and have 16 miles on them, so far, that will climb as I drive it daily to work. 1600 with TPMS, 1500 without.
Ok. Looking at 20x10 -12 offset wheels with 325/60R20 tires on stock JLUR (seriously considering a 2” lift, but not sure it’s needed yet). Does this work without too much rubbing or is the lift a definite to make this work? There is an option for a -24 offset, but that extra .4” isn’t going to...
I'd like to solicit some feedback. Here is the situation.
Vehicle / Tires: 100% stock 2018 JLUR not lifted, w/stock BF Goodrich K02 LT285/70/R17 tires, load range C, stock wheels/rims are 17 x 7.5 inch. Mainly on-road driving, long road trips, light off roading. No serious rock crawling...
I own a 2 door Sport S have the upgrade that includes the All Terrain (vs All Season) Goodyear Wrangler tires. I've been thinking about upgrading to Rubi take off wheels and BFGoodrich KO2 tires. This weekend I'm taking the Jeep up to the Sierra's and there is supposed to be a pretty good...
Because impulse got the best of me I bought the turbo edition of this year's Rubicon (there were no 6 cylinders on the lot). Does the smaller engine limit me on getting bigger wheels and tires? I'm thinking 37's but don't want to waste my time if it puts too much stress on the motor.
Looking to add some new shoes to my JLUR when it gets in, and want to get some folks to chime in with their real world experience. Looking for 35 or possibly 37's (got a lift picked out), on 20x9s... I have 4 different wheels in mind, and can't decide.. I live in Ohio.. We get snow.. Mostly plan...
Looking for opinions on the on road performance. JLUR with the 3.6 is the daily driver and I’ve been going back and forth between 35s or 37s. Do you see much difference going from a 35 to 37 (with 17in wheels) as far as handling, acceleration, speed, etc.?
Also, will need to do a summer and...
Alrighty folks.. Rubicon is on its way... Need some advice.. I've been reading for days now, and still feel a bit lost.
Let's start with the wheels.. I'm interested in putting a set of aftermarket 20" (Haven't discounted the idea 18's, but like how 20's look) wheels under the Rubi, and...

Falken announced today that it will begin supplying the WILDPEAK MT as the new OE tire for 2019 Rubicons. The article doesn’t state when the change will take place.
Seems surprising that Jeep is walking away...
$700, tires only
Selling my 5 brand new BF Goodrich LT285/70R17C OWL OFF-ROAD TIRES, stock Rubicon 33" tires, take offs. 0 miles on them. I just purchased a 2019 JLUR. The dealer is putting bigger tires on it. The tires are currently at my local dealer so I don't have pictures. They are all...
Regarding new 20' rims I am considering different dimension at front and rear.
Fuel Beast D564
Front: 20x10 (-18) or 20x9 (Offset +1)
Rear: 20x12 (-44)
Questions:
Different wheel dimensions, is this ok or just a bad idea? If bad, why?
Recommended tire sizes/dimensions to achieve matching...
Picked up my 2019 JLU MOAB edition. I am looking to sell all 5 rims with tires with minimal miles (500)Plan is to get a lift in the coming weeks and new 35’s.
Priced at $1200 without TPMS sensors for pickup only. (located in Philadelphia area). Willing to hear all offers.
Happy Jeepin!
Spending a few months in the mountains of Northern Utah. Currently, the JLU has 35in Nitto Ridge Grapplers that I love, but I am hesitant if they can hold up to the winter months.
I plan on doing some winter wheeling while I am here and at least one Moab trip is already planned. I am using the...

Anyone in or around Massachusetts looking for a set of 5 tires and rims from a 2018 JLU Rubicon?
One is brand new and never seen pavement and the other 4 only have 3k miles on them. They are mounted, balanced and have TPMS sensors in them, they also come with lug nuts. Tires are BF Goodrich T/A...
This might get fun. It’s hard to tell the scale of how big our rigs can be until you put it next to something ordinary. Post up pics of your Jeeps dwarfing “normal” cars. Today I parked next to a Ford Transit.
Selling my upgraded JLU Sahara wheels with the Goodyear Wrangler AT tires. Only about 2300 highway miles on them. Looking for $600 and trying to get rid of these quick. I'm located in Huntsville, AL.
deciding between these two tires for 80% on 20% off road (in the same size). Anyone with experience with both?
Very interested in performance differences and tread life difference. Is the Toyo worth the extra 9lb per tire?
