  2. Is the eTorque really a hybrid?

I was going over some of the showcases and noticed one called a hybrid Rubicon. A 2018 with the 2.0. Is the eTorque system really considered a hybrid system?
  3. 2021 3.6L eTorque Oil Change / Maintenance

It's so easy to change oil in the standard (non-eTorque) 3.6L even I can do it. Now I have a 2021 JLUR 3.6L eTorque on order. I'm wondering if the oil change procedure is the same as non-eTorque. Is there any additional maintenance to perform for the eTorque? Thanks!
  4. An Explanation of eTorque: what it is, how it works, what it does.

For those who haven't seen it yet, in this video a Chrysler engineer explains what eTorque is, how it works, and what it does. I found it really helpful, so figured I would share. This is in a Ram 1500, but it's basically the same system as in the Wrangler. Since Jeep doesn't really explain...
  5. Stock 2021 JLUR Averaging 14MPG

Not that I care that it’s too low, I’ve just seen many on this forum state higher numbers and I’d be interested if my jeep is consistently drinking more gas than other stock rubicons. I’m 50/50 highway and street & I rarely drive in heavy traffic. Most I ever get is 19, even as ‘current mpg’...

Hey everyone, new to the forum as I’m interested in trading in my JK for a JL .i was hoping you all can give me some advice. After doing some research I saw that in the 2021’s if you want the 3.6 w/ an auto etorque is mandatory. I have no experience with etorque but to me it just looks like...
  7. CEL Issue Code P2B28-00 | Update

So I posted awhile back looking for help with this code. The check engine light appeared at only 300kms on the trip home from pick up. A bit frustrating to say the least, but no power was lost. After the initial trip to the dealership they said it was related to the cooling system for the...
  8. 2021 Rubicon - 4 cylinder vs V6 eTorque???

Hi All, first time post for me and new to the forum. Long story short I am shifting to the USA (Chicago) from AUS and I am pretty set on a 2021 Unlimited Rubicon auto (my just sold D22 Navara was stick but auto is preferred by the wife and is better in traffic). What I am the most torn on is...
  9. 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 With eTorque in Australia?

Hi everyone, Any news on when or if the the new mild-hibrid eTorque engine will arrive in Australia for the Jeep Wrangler JL? I haven’t seen many reviews, so far. I also wonder how will the JL perform when crossing water streams... Thanks, Pedro
  10. 2019 eTorque

The 2018 owners manual says "It is recommended that the Start/Stop System be disabled during off-road use." Likewise, Start/Stop (ESS) is automatically disabled when the transfer case is in 4LO. This is all well and good for off-roading. The integration of eTorque/BSG and the ESS system for the...
