My rubicon does something like metal clicking at low speeds when I tap the gas with 8000mi on it. It also happens in reverse. It has the 3.6 etorque. not sure if people will hear it in the video!

If you think it is coming from the engine, have you checked your engine oil level? If the clicking only happens when you are turning, there is a good chance that it is loose ball joint nuts.

Checked it once before, no problem. Are you able to hear the different sounds ?

I have a 2020 Willys with the V6, I also hear a "clicking" noise. The noise started roughly at about the same mileage as yours, has not increased or appears to cause any damage. I do my own oil changes before the system notifies me it is due.

Can't tell you..shhh
I had some clicking type noise and it turned out to be a loose track bar. I retorqued it and the noise went away. I would check out all of your front end bolts to make sure none are loose. I had my wife turn the wheel side to side while I laid under the front end and checked each thing to see if I could feel or hear movement.

When driving normally in a straight line, slight pressure on the gas pedal and then releasing it sometimes makes a Metal clicking sound, but it's relatively slight and can be heard but not recorded with my cell phone. Maybe I should try putting the phone on the frame.

I don't feel anything wrong right now either, but the presence of that sound is annoying

@CorgiAttack check your radiator fan. On my wifes Subaru Forester, at low speeds, and when it's idling, you can hear it clicking sound coming from the engine bay. For whatever reason it is her fan on the front of the vehicle. I checked it out before and felt around for any issues, and I think it's just sort of rubbing at a certain point, but I can't really figure out exactly where. It's been doing it for 50,000 miles now, so I'm not too worried about damage at this rate.

Also too, it could be your serpentine belt or your timing belt. If it has a little knick in it, or a bump in the belt, it could be making the clicking sound.

That's something I didn't expect. I'll check it out.

I heard a clicking sound while going over rough terrain. Turns out it was my dentures.
