Hey everyone, newbie here, and got my first Jeep a few months ago (2.0, 80th Anniversary, 2-door). Loving it! But I'm also realizing I might be in an exclusive club. Right around 6k miles on it and I'm noticing noises. I notice that on acceleration it will make a chirping sound at lower RPM...
Who is running a Dynatrac 2” on their 2.0T?
The reviews on this lift are exactly what I am looking for, but it’s listed for just the 3.6. I called Dynatrac and they said that it would bolt on, but that it would not ride the same, as it is tuned specifically for the 3.6.
I know I have seen...
For anyone searching, the M.O.R.E. 2-door 2.0 engine skid plate will not fit due to the gas tank skid and probably the gas tank itself.
Unfortunately their website states "Fits 2018 to Current JL Wranglers Unlimited (4 Door)", but then later confirms 2-door fitment in the Questions & Answers...
I know that the Mopar Performance CAI is designed for the 3.6 and that the intake tube is different.
But has anyone tried to install it on the 2.0, minus the intake tube?
Since the air box and the scoop is the same, I don't see why you can't just do the cut out in the same location and let in...
I've was wondering how all the aftermarket baseline dyno curves compare to each other, and found a neat website that lets you convert images into CSV data www.graphreader.com. So with some work, I've collected some baseline 2.0 dyno charts and plotted them out together.
Some observations...
Hi all,
I am new to the JL fam. I currently am a loud and proud owner of a 2005 TJ with the 4 liter straight 6, but recently have been having issues with it (body rust as I live on the East Coast) and have ultimately decided to put it up for sale and purchase a newer Jeep. I will be outright...

My JL has been in the shop for almost a month now due to an overheating issue. About a month ago it started getting hot again here in TX. The first day it hit 90 I started overheating on the highways going 55-65 mph. So I took it to the dealership, the Jeep only has 17k miles on it give or take...
I’ve recently installed a rugged ridge AmFib snorkel kit on my JL, and I must say I love the thing! Looks great, install wasn’t too bad either. Huge fan of the fact I didn’t have to cut any body panels. Check out the install video!
I have searched hundreds of posts and have seen next to nothing about how the JLUS runs on the highway with 35s and the 2.0 8-speed. I’m wanting the 315/70r17 BFGs with aftermarket rims but this will be a DD with speeds closer to 80mph most of the time.
For those who haven’t re-geared, does...
Anyone have this installed and a review of their performance? I'd love to level out my Jeep (positive rake due to steel bumper and winch). I've heard good things about the AEV spacer on JKs...
Thanks in advance!
I plan on getting a JL Rubicon later this year and I was just curious if anyone experienced heatsoak with it? I worry about going slowly off-road and losing power when I need it. I have a car with 2.0T and hot days where I’m stop and go for a bit I noticed a huge drop in power off the line until...
The dipstick on 2.0 is different than that of 3.6.
Did my first oil change on the 2.0 last weekend and was having a real hard time getting a correct oil reading level from the dipstick, anyone else having the same issue? Since I live in Canada they use metric over here and 5 quarts equates to...
Because impulse got the best of me I bought the turbo edition of this year's Rubicon (there were no 6 cylinders on the lot). Does the smaller engine limit me on getting bigger wheels and tires? I'm thinking 37's but don't want to waste my time if it puts too much stress on the motor.
