Little back story….

I had a JKUR all lifted and modified. During the COVID years, I lost my mind briefly and traded in my JKUR for a Dodge Ram 1500. It was a pretty sweet truck but its not a Jeep. I have had many vehicles over the years from trucks, cars, a VW GTI (to many speeding tickets), and even my faithful gold honda accord in college. But the Jeep was my favorite. So I came back to my senses in March and ordered a JLUR XR. She was delivered this past Thursday and I am starting a build thread mainly to keep track of things over the years going forward. It is nice to be able to look back And see all the MODs that were done and when…

Here is Stella…. The new edition to the family.

Added the MOPAR Lift mainly for the better shocks and ride quality and Jeep warranty (I will be selling all the XR take offs - let me know if interested).

I will be installing a Warn winch this coming weekend. And more to come…

Debating the MOPAR Performance Rails. Momma wants a little step. I personally had Ace Sliders on my JKUR but wholly moly those have gotten pricey. Plus this time around I thought it would be fun to stay stock or MOPAR as much as possible.

Nice Jeep! FYI, I'd recommend against the Mopar rails as a step. They're not really wide enough for that. I've got them on my JLR, had the same hopes you did about their functionality, but they don't do step duty all that well IMO.

Thanks for the comment and I agree. After reading a bunch on posts on here. I might be looking elsehere. I could go back with the ACE sliders but I am trying not toget crazy with the $$$ this time around - LOL.

Plus this isn’t high on the list of things to do at this point. Then again you gotta jump a take advantage when Momma Bear is on board with a modification - LOL

I've run Rock Slide Engineering Step Sliders on my last two builds and love them. My wife will wheel with me a lot and being on 37's and a 3.5" lift, they are essential for her. They also are a real slider that can take the punishment on the rocks.

I was going to buy ACE Engineering wall mounts but holy moly, every since they got bought out their prices have gone through the roof…. craziness

Nice, very nice. I noticed you put the Mopar performance parts badge under your rear right tail light. But there's one right there on the tire carrier. You should consider moving it to replace the ''trail rated'' badge on the left side, it fits perfectly.

LOL I questioned the same thing. And the XR package doesn’t come with the camera cover. Although I did figure our that there is a longer camera cover. Just haven’t ordered it yet.
