Anyone with experience towing small campers? I.e. pop-up or toyhaulers?

Specifically wondering about lifted Jeeps on either 35's or 37's.

Anyone maxing out at 3500 or better?

I have 3.6, Mopar lift, 35s. Looking to buy camper soon. 3100lbs dry.

I haven’t pulled anything that heavy but with 37s and 3.5” lift I use a 9” drop hitch to keep it level, otherwise all my shit comes pouring out the back doors when I open them.......... here’s how trailer sits with it, I also sometimes pull a 16 ‘ box trailer full of tools, and how I deliver cabinets, bookcases, shit I build for people. I have the 3.6 auto and it does just fine for that.....:)

I've got a 2.5in lift and 35s on my Sport but the most I tow is my jet ski, probably maxed at 1,200lbs fully loaded. Don't even notice it back there except when braking. I'm thinking about upgrading to the big brake kit since I did notice a slight decline in brake power after sizing up from stock tires, even without towing.

Rockwood 1640ESP , If I recall it’s about 1900 dry
Wow, just checked it out...very nice camper!

Your right 1900...about 2400 loaded.

And priced very reasonable...def looking into this one.

How much she weigh?
Dunno for sure, it was a rental. It’s a Vintage Cruiser 19 RBS which is listed as 3261 empty. We were loaded. I’d guess at least 3500.

I opted for a Casita 17' trailer which was 2500 lbs dry. It towed perfectly fine stability wise even when we went to Moab from Virginia, however I felt the V6 was underpowered with 37s and full armor, especially on hills. I just downsized to a 13' scamp which is only about 1200 lbs dry and has all the same amenities minus a two person dinette. The fiberglass campers are great and light, but not cheap. The JL shouldn't have any issues towing this one. I would definitely recommend one if you are looking to tow something.
