Alright so here's the deal

Got hit this morning, most of the damage seems to be on my fender, bumper and wheel
My insurance deemed me to be not at fault (the guy tried to go straight on a turn only lane)
My buddy owns a shop and told me to shop for a bumper so I can have that upgrade instead of getting the OEM bumper replaced

Any recommendations? I have a stock Sport S, and this will be my first "major" upgrade. I want a winch but feel like it'd be wasted on me since i rarely go offroading except for the occasional mud field.

I do want a spot for my OEM fog lights as well. I also want to be able to keep the oem skid plate but if not, what are some good replacements? Thanks in advance!

I installed an aluminum RockHard on the front and a Tyger on the rear. Both installed great. Tyger was WAY cheaper. Both seem to be good quality.

I am a big fan of the Westin bumpers. Mine is the full width and you can get it in a stubby. It uses the factory fogs and you can put a slim 20" LED bar in the bumper.

You have to first decide if you want a full width, medium width, or stubby bumper. Then choose which material you want, steel or aluminum. Then, bull bar or no bull bar. And then you can start to shop.

For example, I hate full width bumpers and my wife hates stubby’s, so I had to get a medium width. I wanted aluminum, and yes to a bull bar for lights. Narrows the search a lot when you know what you want.

find out what you want first, and then go from there.

This type of recommendation will get you buyer's bias. Check the aftermarket bumper list sticky here & find what's appealing to you. Maybe come back here & search for opinions on quality...look at pics. Lord knows there are plenty of them here. Take your time with this.

If you get a new bumper, it may not be compatible with the stock skid. If you want to keep the stock fogs, that would eliminate some choices. Some will have brackets. You're unsure of a winch, but it's not just for off-roading. You're in a Snow State.

*Oh by the way, LoD all day.

Not as popular but check out Road Armor (popular with trucks). the build quality is amazing and it's more unique as far as who has them. Customer service was also great.

Are there any differences w/ the driving experiencing after mounting on a metal bumper w a winch? I’d expect it to sag a bit. Any differences in acceleration/mpg/braking?

I personally didn’t notice any difference.

It is all personal taste and preference. I just did these and no regrets. Great craftsmanship, weight, love the raw. @genrightoffroad
