Just goes to show that who ever wrote that post " the dealer is not your friend" was 100% correct. All they see us as is $$$. and for that reason if your dealer treats you like mine go to someone like Dennis Dillion and get a really good price..

Have you talked to their GM and seeing if you can bypass salesman and new car manager?

no I haven't not sure it would do any good. for one thing if the gm forces then to deal with me then what kind of attitude would that bring with it. and if he doesn't thenit is a waste of time. I don't see a win win anywhere here only a loose loose. There are alot of other dealers wanting to earn my business. and that they will

Has anybody contacted Antonio at Jim Marsh about the price increase? Just wondering is he’s going to add the increases to our current deals or honor our current pricing. I’m scared to ask!

I emailed Antonio asking for an actual invoice. I have the POC with the price agreed upon that he gave me when I ordered my jeep on 2/16. he emailed me the invoice and I asked about the extra 750$.

He responded, "
It looks like the factory changed their pricing.

They raised the base msrp by $500

They raised the destination $250

They lowered the cold weather group by $300"

So I asked since I put down that $1000 deposit and jeep was ordered, is there price protection? In Which he responded, "We have no control over the factory, I have contacted my Chrysler rep to see what is going on and if there is anything that can be done."

Who the hell knows what can be done but I think its BS if they don't honor previous original prices agreed upon.

I ordered mine on 2/16 as well and I have my printout from the dealer connect with my receipt attached for my deposit. The bottom of that order sheet states that this is not an invoice and that prices are tentative and are subject to change without prior notice. It also states that no claims against the content listed or price quoted will be accepted. Refer to the invoice for final vehicle content and pricing.

I assume this is at the bottom of your sheet as well. I had asked my dealer if my price is going to change and he said "it should not". Well should not is not a definitive answer and I believe I will be in the same boat you are.

Factory order JL once I finalize the configuration..
How do you guys know what invoice price is? Is in a certain percentage amount below MSRP?
Here's why I ask, I think I may have found a volume Jeep dealer in Arizona that is giving Fair deals. 7.5% below MSRP to be exact. It's out of town a little bit but it's way better than crossing multiple state lines to get a deal.

Invoice price is listed here: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...-price-w-invoice-sport-s-sahara-rubicon.2388/.

My deal with Jim Marsh works out to almost 11% off of MSRP.

Someone on the price increase thread said there is a price protection plan the dealer can use for sold orders. They are supposed to use code 27EJ2. Supposedly they can get an exception to the price increase on sold orders. Let me know what you hear from him. Maybe we can let him know about this code??

I have contacted Marianna with Jim marsh. She said they have no control over the price increase. They will give the discount over the price increase.

.

They are supposed to have some kind of price protection on sold orders according to a guy on another thread. I’m going to email them and ask about it.

I just heard back from Antonio. He said the price would stay the same for all orders placed before 3/1 as long as they’re picked up within 10 days of landing. So good news! It sounds like FCA is exempting sold orders from the price increase.
