My mistake, I missed your earlier post. They're probably just behind on updating the site.

Yeah it is kinda weird because they updated the options by adding sting grey and taking away the tan sof top. not only thatthey something hoky to the site and changed the drop down order of the trim pakages so that the rubicon is the third down and the sahara is the 4th down. That is why I am so confused . Why do all that and then still use the old prices?:headbang::headbang::headbang:

I am not getting the destinationincrease beacuse on the Build and price it still shows it as $1195? Can someone explain?
That tool is behind - remember they still have some that beat that 3/1 deadline that are in transport so they may have consciously said wait a few weeks to update that OR more likely the database that has that information is not real time and updated manually and will be at some point. Not unusual for a car that's in production - since you can look on a lot for a bit and see old pricing.

I am 3 hours from Toledo
Damn I just read that again.

$1,445
$1,495 in HI

So jeep just increase the price $750? $500 + $250? Greedy! Please don’t blame Trump steel tariff for destination increase.

Is destination increase across the board for all Jeep and FCA vehicles?

Sorry Jeep. I’m holding off now. I think it’s pretty crappy to raise the price already. It’s only been about 1 month since delivery of the JL.

I’m mad because I had a purchase order agreed upon, but the painted hard top was constrained. So the hard top constraint was lifted the day they increased prices. So I have a write up from a few weeks ago w a price and now one from this morning with the painted top. I gave my deposit weeks ago and was cashed before the price changes.
You should be fine.

As long as you secured your purchase with a down payment, the price will be locked in to the date the order was processed.

At least that's what my dealer assured me.

That website is a joke. I'm convinced that it's administered by some guy in the slums of Mumbai who only works during his break from the other 19 subcontracting jobs he's working on.

Up here in Canada, we only got the builder on Feb.28. And then it became out of date 24hrs later!!! WTF.

My concern is my original purchase order didn’t have the matching top because of the constraint.

My dealer told me when I ordered and paid the down payment that fca could still increase the price and I'd be on the hook for it. I'm sure I can cancel if I want to. I'm only in D status.

There's no more to get straight. I posted in this thread, post #3, about the increase being true. I'm in the process of ordering now and I know it to be a fact.

You order today, you will pay ~$500 more for a JLUR than you would have 2 days ago. That's the sad truth.
So if I understand correctly, if you ordered your Jeep in February you wouldn't be hit with the price increase?

Depends on your dealer. The price is not set until the Jeep is actually built and it has a sticker. FCA has the right to change the price and even if you put a deposit it does not lock you into that price. If you have the sheet they printed for your order from dealer connect look at the very bottom of it.

Then to me that would be something for the Dealer to consider especially when you sign a locked in price, I would hope they would honor that agreed upon price otherwise it's hard to get folks to purchase on a sliding scale.

It does not make me happy either but understand that the statement "sign a locked in price" is not accurate. I assume that dealer connect is the same across the country and at the bottom of the paper I signed it states that the prices can change. So if this is the paperwork you are referring to then you signed and agreed that the price could change.

Exactly. If you take a deposit, the deal is done. I'm in JB status... But they can keep it if they try to change the price.
